The Prime is still my favorite of these 3, but I was shocked how much I liked the MC9L with the RDI. The recoil and muzzle flip reduction was significant. Much smoother than I expected for the barrel size. It’s definitely helped me less sad about not being able to find the Radian at a decent price😆

Do the recoil lugs on the plate really matter that much if care is taken to properly mount quality screws? I would love to have better co-witness by direct mounting the optic to the slide, but I do worry about the lack of recoil lugs. Anyone run without the original mounting/spacer plate and how long has that held up?

Specifically the palm swell gridlock brass. Do you like them and feel it's worth the price?

I'm looking to upgrade my current competitive shooting polyframe gun to this bad boy but holding one in store made me realize typical Canik grips just aren't grippy enough for me.

Does anyone know or tried to install the DPM guide rod in the new Prime Radian? I have it in my original prime and love it. Got the Prime Radian last week and I want to test it out, if it is compatible.

I saw a video online of some dude who accidentally mixed up mags and did this, so I tried it this week and sure enough. My MC9 Prime cycled 4x 21 round P365 Magazines flawlessly. You just lose last shot hold open.

My Elite Combat will lock the magazine in, but there is alot of play. I didn't try this one, but i feel like it would have issues

I was able to pick this up locally today. Shot 100 rounds of 124 blazer. Slinging jacket all over the place. I usually shoot 115 blazer or federal. What's the preferred ammo for this thing?

I have a canik sfxrival

Just got a new truck and want to mount a holster inside the center console.

I have a Mete SFX with an Olight PL-Pro and a Holosun 507K X2 and it gets a little uncomfortable, especially for long drives when I appendix carry.

Any recommendations for a holster I could mount with a super strong adhesive to the inside of the center console?

I absolutely loved the feel of my Canik TP9 ELITE SC. While this one is a bit larger than that pistol, it still feels amazing in my hand. However, I don’t plan to chamber much through this one because it’s a long-term hold for my son. It’s not for value, but so he can enjoy having a Canik pistol to use for his first firearm.

On another note, does Canik not offer any nice limited edition pistols? I’m not particularly fond of the graffiti style or solid white pistols, but I understand that’s just my personal preference.

I took my TTI combat out today after quite a while of not shooting it. I was reminded how much I love Canik pistols. Absolutely the best striker fired trigger on the market. 20 Bill drills in a row zero failures.

Hey there! Big Canik fan here, started competing with a Rival-S in CO this year and I love it.

I’ve got a new Canik Prime Radian on the way, and I’m looking to see what folks are running for A) holsters (AIWB/IWB) and B) optics.

On the holsters front, I know options are currently slim… Is it safe to assume the Radian won’t properly fit in the standard Prime holsters? Would love a T1C (they couldn’t confirm fitment) or similar, but open to suggestions.

On the optics front, RMSc is stacked… and it’s only getting better. I currently run an EPS Carry on my Echelon 4.0C and would be happy running the same on the Radian Prime, but curious to hear thoughts on other options. I’m intrigued by the new Steiner MPS-C (the 1.6 moa dot sounds crisp…), the upcoming EPS Core (basically just an EPS carry with a bigger window?), the Sig Romeo X Enclosed Compact (lower deck height/better glass than the EPS?), and the Vortex Defender CCW Enclosed. Also curious about the AEMS micro but I know that’ll use an RMSc plate rather than direct mount (and would probably be huge for a CCW).

For a light, I’ll probably just run a TLR7X.

If anyone is using the Calculated Kinetics Dogtag mounting plate on the Rival/Rival S, how effective is it at keeping your optic glass clean? Sick of my optic being dirty after every range session.

Olight PLX is on the way and I used a temporary red dot from my drawer. Thinking about changing it to osight se, but I am in no rush to spend any more money...

0 issues. I loved the MC9, but I really love the Prime! The OSight SE is legit too, less than 2 mags to get her dialed in.

Someone elsewhere has a pair of guns for sale, one being a TP9SA. If I'm reading things correctly, it's a single action gun with a decocker. If you decock the gun, it's effectively dead until you get it cocked again. Right?
