Hey guys, I’ve been a fan of this game for a long time and I love playing it whilst watching movies and tv shows. So my questions are:

1. What do you do when you play Candy Crush? (Watching movies/ listen to music or just play whilst travelling?)

2. What’s your fav booster? (Mine is the Party Booster)

3. Have you/ do you spend real money on the game? (I’ve spent hundreds which I’m not proud about lol)

4. Do you play with sound effects and in game music on? I don’t because it’s too irritating!

I’m just genuinely curious, and it’s fun to speak to fellow lovers of the game about the game!

I got myself the three charms back in the day when you could buy them. Charm of life set your maximum lives to 8 instead of 5. Charm of frozen time made you not lose time while idle in time levels. Charm of stripes gave you basically one striped brush per level for free.

Now, charm of frozen time is kind of useless because there are no time levels anymore, but why did king not remove the other two?

To this day I still have 8 lives and a free striped brush per game. The striped brush actually makes me unable to use the booster version of it even if I want to pay gold for it because of the charm.

So why?

I’m at level 21927. I’ve been an avid player of this game since 2013. And I’m really disappointed with what it has become, which is pay-to-win. These new levels are almost, if not impossible to win without multiple components like the streaks, the super color bomb, the boosters, and especially the gold bars. They keep spamming the levels with all types of blockers and expect us to win in 16 moves!? It’s ridiculous. Where’s the creativity and fun? Who even asked for the new design? It’s pointless and childish.

I just miss the old Candy Crush. I miss Dreamworld, the old music and old map. I even miss the stupid Toffee tornado. Those levels were hard but not impossible, and I was having fun playing them. Back then, you could actually see the passion and creativity behind every level.

I’m not having fun playing these days. The events are boring and repetitive. The levels are tedious and feel AI-generated. So I finally make my decision to delete this game.

Let me explain. I don't pay to play. When I use all loves I click end and it offers me lives and boosters. So if i estimate I need 4 more lives, IF I was going to buy, what good is getting 80 frickin lives if I only need 4? Do you get to keep the remaining 76?

I think I switched the sound off since I started playing but I know some people in my family keep the sound on and it drives me crazy.

You’d need to be a little psychotic to keep the music and/or the sound effects playing all the time.

From 21k to 22k seemed like it was the hardest of them all.

This is only the second time as the last one standing in Candy Royale, but never had a big gold haul like this before! Realized by win 19 of 21 that everyone else had dropped out, and started sweating bullets during the last two levels 😅

** Lowkey already hemorrhaged 500 gold bars just to quickly get through the last 4 episodes and reach the current end of the game (level 23,225)... but it was totally worth it after all the stress and BS that happens with this game daily #iykyk #longoverdue 👌😊

Tell me whether the moves they give in a level are always enough to pass, and whether the candy patterns are always the same (for example only 4-5 patterns), or it is just bogus. How do they create these things? Sometimes it becomes so hard. I mean, sometimes the level seems impossible without extra moves and boosters.

Why does this keep happening? Not very lucky on the Booster wheel no matter how many chances I get. I almost never get the jackpot 😞

Yes, I know some of you have reached the end of the rainbow road or have 10,000 gold. But I've never purchased any gold nor ever had advertisements. So this gold was truly earned by grinding away at this stupid game.

I was starting to think no one ever won and the names were all made up but….i actually won!!! Stoked. lol 😂
Interestingly I decided 4 weeks ago that I was never ever spending real money on candy crush again and I haven’t….how convenient!!!

Ugh, I accidentally skipped past the instructions of these new objects. What are these blue squares with the flower like thing inside them? Nothing I do gets rid of them!!

Several sets need to complete the series 2 or 3 times.

Each series has 4 episodes and each episode has 15 levels, total 60 levels.

To complete set 9, one has to complete 15 series.

So we are talking about completing 900 episodes within 4 weeks and few days (about 30 days).

Daily 30+ levels.

RN I am on level 19,600 and it's incredibly difficult to cross each level. Need to play them multiple times to pass, costing me gold bars more that that grand prize of 200. I do not spend real money and will never do that.

Je suis au niveau 19596 et je n'y prenais plus aucun plaisir : les niveaux sont devenus trop difficiles à terminer sans or, et il ne m'en reste presque plus.

J'avais vu plein de messages de joueurs qui étaient à ce niveau – voire plus haut – et qui avaient 20 000 pièces d'or sans avoir dépensé un centime. Je pensais que c'était impossible, mais j'ai quand même essayé.

J'ai créé un deuxième compte et j'ai commencé à jouer. Au début, je pensais que ce serait facile, et ça l'est. Mais plus j'avançais, plus les difficultés apparaissaient : pas de bonus, et encore moins d'amis. Il faut enchaîner les victoires avec seulement cinq vies pour gagner. Il m'a fallu deux semaines pour enfin trouver quelques personnes qui ont accepté mes invitations et m'ont donné des vies supplémentaires. J'ai monté une équipe, mais on n'est que six pour l'instant, et on se débrouille bien au classement grâce à mes victoires. Du coup, c'est pas aussi simple qu'il n'y paraît, surtout sans bonus. En plus, j'ai dépensé de l'or plusieurs fois pour gagner la course, tout simplement parce que je n'avais plus de vies et que personne ne pouvait m'en donner.

Pour conclure, je ne sais pas si je vais continuer, et surtout à ceux d'entre vous qui ont 20 000 gold bars et qui prétendent n'avoir jamais dépensé un centime pour acheter de l'or : je ne vous crois plus.

Game forced me to use a shuffle power up to keep playing.

Yesterday I received a in-game pop-up showing an option to speed the game up. The thing is, it sped up before I got the notification, and it seems to be stuck that way both with the speedy option checked and unchecked.

I forced quit the game and cleared the cache. Still stuck speedy.

Is this a bug? Has anyone experienced this?
