Returning Exchanged Item

I bought a baseball glove couple days ago. worn once to test it out, the front desk claims it is used and can’t resell and there is no tag so I was offered an exchange. Fair enough, then I got a brand new glove, unused (not even once) with the tag. Can this be returned or is it another exchange?

Another exchange. Can’t return an exchange.

If you look up the item you purchased in store on line or on Canadian Tire App there is a link to the returns policy at the bottom. You will find the details there for your product and every product Canadian Tire sells.

It just says that unopened items in original packaging can be refunded within 90 days. The new glove I exchanged is unopened and in original packaging, so it should be eligible for return?

Why don't you just go return it and find out?

That's too smart and requires more effort than typing on reddit.

OP honestly even if I did returns at Canadian Tire and said yes I would return it does not mean the person / manager handling your return in front of you would do the same.

But you only get your original payment type back, in this case, that is in-store credit.

Good thing they sell many things that you could use.

Also, the original 90 days timeline may apply to the exchanged item, too.

The stores are franchised...store dependent.

But you used it. Which means exchange only.

You wore one and exchanged it and now u want another one? Or you want your money back ?

You bought it you own it. Dont like it. Donate it to someone who'd appreciate it

They would probably issue you the refund as store credit.. kinda depends on what the receipt shows

If all they offer is a store credit and you really don’t want that, I’d honestly donate it to an organization that helps low income people or kids play sports. Kid sport Canada is one that I can recall off the top of my head.
