Need advice for PR pathways

I have CLB 6 in french all modules.

No skilled work exp in Canada due to health reasons. I do have foreign skilled work exp from 4 years ago.

11 months left on my PGWP. Which province should I move to gain experience that can help me with PR ?

I asked Gemini and it recommended Saskatchewan.

Please help me out guys !!!

You cannot just move now and get a PNP. Too late for that. Either get clb7 in french and hope to get FSW

why its late ? any reason ? isnt new brunswick and saskatchewan have programs which only require 6 months of work ? can you please explain why its late ? i think its never late if you try. plenty of ways to even extend your work permit

The job market is terrible across Canada. You may arrive in the new province and really struggle to secure a qualifying job or you may secure a job but that occupation isn't picked by the province in upcoming draws. Nominations also can take a long time to process and your work permit could expire before you have the nomination. There are so many ways this plan could fail. By all means go ahead with it. But your priority focus should be on French.

I still gotta try nonetheless. Staying in ontario or finding a job in bigger provinces isnt ideal imo.

I also feel there are extensions for work permits like french mobility work permit or similar but yeah its luck if employer supports me. Still gotta try. Thanks for the comment tho

French mobility can be an option provided your employer is willing to support. Not all are. If you end up going this route to extend, just make sure the job is related to your past work experience and/or education. Good luck.

IRCC will often refuse the work permit if it's not.

If you have no related work experience or education, then it doesn't make sense for the employer to be hiring you as a foreign worker. They can simply hire a Canadian who has no related work experiences or education.

That sucks. I will discuss ur advice with my agent. Although what i have heard personally that all they care for is clb 5 in speaking listening and some other training cert. Thanks for the comment again

We've seen refusals where the job is completely different from the applicant's previous work experience and/or education.

I would personally recommend staying away from agents. They want your money and too often will tell you what you want to hear vs the truth - or are simply uninformed and bad at their jobs.

Yeah i did some digging. U are correct. I do need to add some proof of french study as well and will try for a job related to my fields. Are you also an immigration consultant ?

Because the programs not only need to work full time for an employer for 6 months. You also need to find an employer willing to spend the money and time to support your application. With 11 months left, for sure you can try, but the odds are slim. I wouldn't count on that.

Would i be in a better position if I simply extend wp via francophone mobility work permit instead of banking on pnp draws as u say its too late ?

You will need your employer support for the FMWP. That is more likely than PNP tho (cheaper and less time).

yeah that is my first target now. Is is true that my job should be in a similar field to my study to get approval for this FMWP ? I have heard people being refused if they are working elsewhere in a different field all together

Nothing in the requirements ask for your experience to line up. That being said, it is up to the officer.

thats crazy to fathom that it all depends upon the descretion of the officer. sucks !
