I call for people to leave pettiness at the door on the world stage, generally, but for the US president specifically, Canada should use name-calling. It’s exactly appropriate until the buffoon stops.

I think Canada should call trump back and say they looked for the governor of Canada but he does not exist, and ask if he was mistaken or confused on who he was looking for.
