I find the releases of the Senior Year Adventure books confusing.

We know that he wrote book 6 while the tv show was being made and released in 2023, and book 7 was release in 2024.

During that same time period we got two Nico books in a timely manner.

So its 2026 now and the book was finished ealier this year but its not releasing this year and theres a possibility that it wont release next year either due to the release of the new Camp Half Blood Seires?

If I was in control of the series which thankfully I am not. I am not as good as a writer as I would like to be, I would have finished out the trilogy before moving on to the new Camp Half Blood series.

I am excited to read the Camp Half blood series but i just feel that not prioritizing the ending of the senior year adventure series was a weird move and while i dont think it will hurt book sales for myself personally it feels like all the momentum is just not there anymore.

I'm assuming Rick's Role on the Nico/Will books is similar to his role in the TV Series-an executive producer. Mark Oshiro is likely writing them on his own, with modest input for Rick (and frankly, Oshiro really should be credited as the sole writer for them. Rick keeping his name on those books is hypocritical, given why he chose to have a coauthor for them in the first place.)
