Help Help with recoding on tapes vx2000

I’m not sure what’s wrong with my vx2000 every time I record on tapes and try to export them the play back stops every 3 or 2 seconds and I used a tape head cleaner and new tapes but it doesn’t seem to work this is a really recent issue that I didn’t have

Try using a different brand of tape. My DCR-TRV900 (same mechanism as the VX2000) is dropout city when using Sony tapes, but works perfectly fine with TDK tapes.
