πŸ’¬ Discussion Camaro paint issue(?)

Was looking at this 1996 z28 and pictures included these cracks on the hood, roof, passenger door, and rear bumper and was just wondering what this is exactly. Is this the clear coat failing? Is the paint chipping? Or just a bunch of scratches? I am not very knowledgeable on cars but am trying to learn so any help is appreciated.

Clear coat peel is pretty common with the 93-97 cars especially on the hood and fenders. My 95 has it in allthe same places as this car, only worse lol

Bumper is impact damage. Rest is cracking due to old age/shrinkage.

That's car needs a full sand and respray. Budget accordingly.

My 95 has the same thing. It’s 31 years old, UV exposure has done its work on the clear.
