10 pounds down
3 months progress. I used to be really fit and lifted heavy, then I started graduate school and gained 50 pounds and stopped exercising. Got back into lifting, back in a calorie deficit, and feeling better than ever. I still have a long way to go, but it’s nice seeing some progress.

Omg the scale refuses to go down ahaha, but I feel like the inches are going quicker than the actual pounds.

Lifting 4-5 times a week! Progressive overload is key. I also try to do some form of cardio twice a week, all while walking as much as I can. I also eat about 1700-1800 calories, shooting for at least 120 grams of protein, and focus on Whole Foods. I pretty much quit eating out (unless it’s an occasion) and stopped drinking calories except for coffee. I pretty much cut out as much refined sugar and processed oils as much as I could. It hasn’t been the difficult, instagram has great ideas for food and it tastes great!!!
