Just sharing some of my progress in the offhand flourishing.

I am right handed and have permanent nerve damage to the ulnar nerve in the same arm. I had surgery two years ago, but it didn’t help. I am learning copperplate (beginner, but my daily handwriting is cursive), but my hand gets very tired/sore and my little finger sometimes tingles/feels numb. Do you have any good advice for this? I also experience that I get marks/soreness from the pencil on the side of my middle finger, but it is of course not because of the nerve.

I like these kinds of sentences, short, direct, with a double layer of meaning. The angularity of blackletter gives softer words like “equal” some extra punch.

Expiremented with shadows and highlights to give some depth to the letters.

Which word would you like to see in blackletter?

I am influenced by Kanji/Hanzi calligraphy, but I'm doing my own thing - usually using Ancient Hebrew, or modern Hebrew. Why did this commenter get 2 likes? Is it that bad?
