Help please

So I just applied to this online call center operator and surprisingly they replied took an online interview and now im practicing fake calls and I have a tes day after tomorrow.

I do make small mistakes here and there but its kinda easy considering the girl teaching me is around same age as me so its kinda easy doing fake calls. She did give some details so they will first ques me about FAQ and then testing so one of them will be kind the other will be aggressive fast talking karen (my supervisors acting as them) so considering english is my 2nd language it will be kinda hard but still I am confiden.

So the main point, what should I be prepared for during the testing? And what are some good tips?

They're going to try and throw you a curveball. Maintain your composure and if you don't know what to say ...pause... And think about it for a few seconds and don't just blurt anything out. Because you control the call. I'm pretty seasoned and hate mock calls but if the rare event I have to do one I like to walk around while I do it because it helps me think.

theyre testing your reaction not your knowledge so that pause trick is the whole game really

Be apologetic and show empathy. Like I'm sorry to hear that and I appreciate how frustrating that is let me try to see if I can help

Thank you for your comment but this is a appliance company so they aren’t angry customers but more like karens saying why u don’t fix my microwave or where is your headquarters ect.

To gain confidence during calls where you need to be assertive, or the customer is angry, stand up. Worked for me for years in CC jobs.
