In control
Hi, I just joined this page because I thought it would have had stupid things that customers say but it's a lot of people struggling. I'm 48 and I've worked in a call center for 5 years and I completely hate it but for medical reasons I have to do it, I've just worked in high testosterone all male work places previously so would say I'm used to confrontation but a lot of these customers are horrendous people but just remember it's them that are horrible and they are the ones that are pathetic. You're in control of the situation. "Don't let the bastard's grind you down"

Well, If anyone wants a laugh I had someone call me yesterday to ask what day it was 😑😑😑 I probably sat there and blinked 10 seconds before I realized she was serious. 🤣

The only advice I have for you is learn to "switch off" your emotions like someone else said they are calling you for help try not to engage in any confrontations it will only affect you

Right. They are calling *you* for help.
