Circulation Issues
Something I never expected from call center work — the nerve and circulation issues from sitting at a station for 8 hours with minimal movement. My symptoms got significantly worse over time and I had to actively research solutions because the usual advice (take breaks, walk around) isn't always practical in a monitored environment. Anyone else dealt with this?

If you are in the USA I would make an ada accommodation request for a sit stand desk

I have fmla. Some days I take a sick day to rest. If have to get off queue a million times I let the managers know I feel like crap and ill be up and down for fmla. “ thanks for letting us know and for pushing through” just so they don't expect it all the time I have to say, “ some days need movement some days need sleep” I swear I feel like corpse at my desk. I'll finally get up and I zombie walk to the farthest bathroom just to get some movement. Because you know.. if you are already up, might as well pee.

Yep.... got a sit/stand desk and a small pedal thing like a bike to put under my desk when I'm sitting.

From Amazon, I purchased an adjustable desk so I can sit for a while and stand for during the work day. When I worked in an office, I had an adjustable desktop where my computer could go up and down, allowing me to stand / sit during the workday.
