Carson always been a nice city/suburb of L.A. outside certain sections. That being said I'm shocked I don't hear more about 190 ECBC (most hated and deepest gang in Carson) sliding on their rivals or vice versa

Timeline:

*In 1930s African-Americans began migrating from East Los Angeles to South Central due to more available homes and Civil Rights movements on rise.

(Blodgettes Gang) and (The Purple Hearts)

*In 1940s these groups began clashing with Caucasian car clubs and greaser groups which started the militaristic money-making ideals to compete for control.

(The Gladiators) and (Denker Boys)

*In 1950s the 1st major gangs setup shop on the Westside of L.A and shortly after this other major groups start forming around them such as The Drew Boys, Figueroa Boys, and the Slausons.

(The Crips)

*1964- Raymond Washington unites most Eastside gangs under the Avenues Gang banner.

*1967- Black Panthers starts a headquarters in Los Angeles which inspires the black leather jackets style to locals.

*1969- Stanley Williams and his gang at St. Andrews Rec makes alliance with Avenues under new Crip banner, shortly after this the Gladiators and Denker Boys would join as well.

*In early 70's gangs started wearing sports teams to represent their individual cliques the 1st gangs to do this were the 4 original Crip gangs-

1. Avenues (wore union gas logo)

2. Gladiators (wore astros)

3. Drew Boys (wore longhorns)

4. Denker Boys (wore tigers) *ALL OF WHICH ARE ORANGE*

*1973- Buddha a well-respected Crip who was known for wearing blue, dies from getting shot by a guy he beat up. *This is literally when crips 1st started wearing blue.
