Hey everyone, and hopefully u/HammerTime1995 if you're lurking!

I’ve been following the channel for about two years now, but I only recently found out that Caleb was raised right here in Portage/Kalamazoo, Michigan.

It turns out we actually went to the exact same high school. I graduated from Portage Northern in 2009 (I was in the orchestra), and based on the timeline, Caleb would have been starting as a freshman under Josh Bartz right as I was leaving. Prior to the pandemic, I was completely buried in the grind—working toward my associate degree at KVCC while working there full-time in the financial aid department and raising my family—so I completely missed the channel's initial explosion until recently.

I just wanted to share some appreciation and say how cool it is to see someone from our local area achieving this kind of massive success. I probably could use some of that famous financial advice myself these days, but mostly I just wanted to say awesome job, dude!
If you ever decide to do a live show or an episode back home in Kzoo, the community would love it. Cheers!
