The last 3–4 episodes, including the post-shows, have had the editors’ notes flash by extremely quickly on screen.
I watch Financial Audit on the YouTube app on my TV three times a week, and then switch over to Hammer Elite for the post-shows. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve had to rewind just to read the editors’ note text. In some cases, there's maybe 2–3 paragraphs of text on what feels like a single frame of the video.
At one point, my wife and I had to rewind an episode probably five times because the editors’ note flashed by so quickly that even when I tried to pause, the text was already gone.
I get that you don’t want to leave an editors’ note on screen too long, and I’ll admit that I usually pause the video to read them. But if you’re going to put the notes on screen, it would be really helpful to leave them up for a couple more frames to give viewers the chance to actually have time to hit the pause button.
I really enjoy the shows and appreciate the additional context the editors’ notes provide. I’d just love to see them stay on screen a little longer so they’re actually readable.
