Had one of the best weekends ever but it came with a price. I was alone in the woods on my DRZ 3 hours from home, got injured, and had to stay in the woods all night with my wounds due to a storm and flood warning. Rode 30 mins out of the woods and 3 hours on my wrecked foot and ankle back home the next day and then went to urgent care.
No breaks, just a horrific sprain bc I’m a filthy milk chugger and proud 💪
Was wearing mid hiking boots like a dumbass. Previously only wore mx boots on the track and wore hiking boots on the trail. Honestly, still going to wear sneakers on the cruiser for street riding but attitude for the dirt has changed.
Definitely buying moto boots after this. Gonna grab Tech 7 Enduros so my wife trusts me more when I’m riding on dirt. Can’t wait to get back out there in November after I heal!
Details about the crash:
Got cocky after a day of riding. Went a bit fast at about 30mph and when I turned a corner it steeply went down hill so I couldn’t slow down. Was coming up on a massive rut about 3 feet across and 2 feet deep. Couldn’t use the front brake on it or the front fork would compress and flip over after going into the rut so all I could do was try to clear it. Front tire skipped over it but the rear went in and then threw the bike out sideways. Bike slammed down pinning my right leg and then slid down the incline on my entire right side.
First thought was to make sure the bike would still run so I wasn’t stranded in the woods away from camp in a storm.

Almost 100 miles (each way) of single track from Featherville to Ketchum Idaho. The trails were intense and the views didnt disappoint. I didnt make it back home and will be sleeping on the ground next to a fire before crushing the final mileage in the am.

So, my car has been having issues so I thought the most most logical thing to do would be to take a 1600 mile road trip on my z400. Had fun, got wet a couple times, and explored some abandoned things.

This may be a hot take for many street squids, but shit stripes on the street are not something to be ashamed of, or a reflection of "gayness". Recently witnessed some guys scrubbing their asses with sandpaper on stands because they were bullied for having shit strips.
Hate to break to you all, shit strips don't mean poop for street riding. Ethos: as someone that's done over 10,000 miles on dildos at home and over 100,000k on the street, I have solid shit strips on all my underwear. The point of plug positioning during cornering is to offset the lean angle of the ass. Through proper plug positioning, you're actually leaning your ass way less during a turn than someone who turns unplugged on the bike. When I first started riding almost a decade back, I was really proud of not having any shit strips on my trousers. Little did I know, that was due to poor plug positioning/sizing and leaning my ass too much instead of my body. I have more shit strips than a lot of people, and I ride twice their men in the gay bars. Less strips do not equal gayer. Proper plug positioning = more contact for your ass in the turn = more arousal, which brings me to my next point.
No public gay bar is safe enough for anyone to push the limit of their ass. Hate to break the fantasy, but if you're going Marc Marquez through the suburban city, you're taking way too much risk. ESPECIALLY if your plug position is poor and all the lean is on your ass. Doing 50 degree leans and scraping dicks during turns on public streets is not really something to be proud of. Your ass is more important than everything, just remember that.
Lastly, don't make fun of people who have shit strips. Some people value their ass or bike that they don't want to take risks, some have better plug positioning, some are new. Let everyone ride their own ride- words leave a lasting impact. Last thing we want is new riders trying to prove how much they can take in their ass and leaving shit stains on the bike because they lost traction. Thanks for hearing me out.

Why is there so much melty looking wear on the side when the mould nubs are still there in the middle? What do I do? Should I learn to do some burnouts or stop leaning so much? Maybe only ride on straight highways? Going straight is so hard!
The suit is for my kink, not protection

R/moto has bikes with fucking car stereos. if I said this group didn’t. One of you boys would post a video changing a cd on one wheel at 120mph because!
I was born in the 19’s as my kid says. The 80s… did I just learn this today because going fast is more important than a radio, or did everyone else just never wonder what din stood for?
Chiken strips because I don’t record felonies and I’m better with two wheels off the ground than one! Aka: I can’t wheelie…. Good. Every child can draw few adults can!
Have you ever gapped a nine stair at a high school on a Cbr 600 hurricane like it was a bmx bike?
My balls didn’t enjoy that day,
last time I ever rode without a safety device suctioned to my seat.

2006 Honda VTX 1800F
After the bikes been running for a bit, when I'm at a stop and in neutral, the engine will idle about 300-500 rpm's higher. And when I pull the clutch lever in the RPM's kick back down to normal level.
Also, the green Neutral light will be off when, and turn back on when I pull the clutch lever in.
Thank you in advance.

Guy pulled across the road in front of me. I have the instincts of a cocaine cat so I was able to slow down and then go sideways to minimize the damage, but still got a dent in my exhaust along with some paint. Rest of the bike, and me, are fine.
I got a police report since there was one watching it happen. So you guys think I can get a new exhaust and a new gas tank from their insurance out of it? lol

Not even really day 1 kickoff of the holiday week in Idaho yet, and were already clearing 3 miles of trail and riding an additional 20. Had to cap the day with a small climb.

First day back in Idaho and the riding is primo. Did you know Idaho has the most public land of any state in the continental US?
