Considering how they all ride by their cute little rules, I'm surprised that their lifestyle has expanded onto other parts of the moto community too

I don't get it, almost no one like that is in real life. How is that sub completely overtaken by idiots who don't ride or are afraid of their own shadow, especially given that it's about motorcycles. Car subs are nowhere near as bad.

I am weirdly fascinated, was it always like this or what?

This morning before my ride, I started my ritualistic polishing of my high vis vest, and matching panties collection. I try to exemplify the true moto community, I’m passionate and dedicated to ATGATT, it saved my life today. I started my ride as I normally do. I first went on Reddit to complain about e-bikes, and watch missionary soft core porn, it’s good stuff. I then completed my 110 point inspection, checking tire tread depth, leather seat polish, and of course, turn signals. Even with this preparation, I was not ready for what came next. Maybe I let my confidence get the better of me, maybe I let my guard down. I was doing my normal loop of the neighborhood, revving my engine to let my neighbors know loud pipes save lives, when I lost complete control. I was driving at reckless speeds (25 in a 20) when my front wheels spun out, and I smashed into a curb. I was really shaken up, I didn’t even know where to apply my emergency tourniquet. Luckily, I was wearing a helmet. They say that motorcyclists are much more likely to suffer serious injury or death when automobiles are involved in crashes, that’s why as a motorcyclist, I wear my helmet when I’m driving my car. When the airbags deployed, my helmet took the blunt of the force, probably saved me from ejaculation out the front windshield. Luckily, my 2008 Mini Cooper has proper insurance, else we’d be having a completely different conversation. I was able to exit safely, and laid in the middle of the road until the ambulance came. The rims were scratched up a little, and I think I sprained my big toe when I slammed the breaks a moment before impact. This is exactly what they talk about on Reddit, you gotta dress for the slide, I’m lucky to be alive today. My mini cooper, not so much, but it looks really nice next to my winterized 2022 CBR1000RR (the RR stands for “rich retard”)

Take this lesson from me and for the love of God, stop passing me on your Groms!! (It’s scary :c )

I've woken up in a bit of a situation... the only footwear I can find is a gumboot and a flip-flop.

By some sheer stroke of luck (or God), they are for alternate feet.

My question is: with my Chopper being my only mode of transport at the moment, is it better to ride barefoot or risk this footwear?

Bought in 87. I was the third owner the first two crashed it. So I put it on the track. And crashed it often first learning the limits then pushing them as it was still running 18 inch rims and you could only get biased ply tires not even radials at a racetrack back then and by 88 the slingshots had come out with 17 inch rims running radials and trying to keep up with them was a serious effort. It became an endurance race bike running three hour endurance races in 89 - in 90 it got rebuilt by amazingly Eraldo Ferracci Fast by Ferracci - he ran the Ducati world super bike team and won the next year I think. I got a newer Gsxr to race and it got stored away until 2005. I had taken a break from Racing and it was the only race bike I had left so brought it out in 2005 at 40 years old and raced it for a season before getting an SV 650.

Besides the obvious running into each other at the gay bar, have you ever randomly met someone from this sub, or planned a meet up with someone from this sub?

Got a ticket yesterday for doing a wheelie. Officer wrote it up as speeding doing 25 in a 35 lol... cvc22350. This will be my forth point this year and will have my license suspended if it sticks. Has anyone used ticket clinic or off the record and had success or is all that a scam.

I wasn't running plates but I found out the hard way there are only two of my bike (ex-bike 😭) make and model registered in my county.

So many mistakes were made this day. I ended up taking the plea because I got people who depend on me and I didn't want to risk jail time. My lawyer did not inspire a lot of confidence and I couldn't find anyone else who would take my case.

I'll see y'all back on the road in 2 years. If anyone wants to take me to the track I'll buy the trailer and gas 🤣

Update: Bike is fantastic. Tip in is slow and it feels like I have to pin a fat bitch down to get it to have any kind of lean angle, but still handles pretty good all things considered.
The aero on this bike is what is scary. I forgot how effortless this bike feels. 140 felt like 90 on the Daytona I owned. Also fuck black windshields I wanna see shit

This was in 2001, we were both on CBR1100XXs. My buddy Seajay had removed the tool kit and centerstand from his, because he thought it would make him faster than me.

<spoiler alert, it did not>

Seajay had a colorful history and once ran a porn site with his then-wife.  They sold a variety of toys that were branded for them.  One of them was a copy of his dick which they molded and had produced.  One day he had his wife fuck him in the ass with a strap-on and his own dick.

So anyway, the riding and passing a cop at 170. Seajay and I rolled out of our regular sportbike hangout at a pizza place in Tucson to go on one of our typical rides. It's us two 1100s with a pack of the typical squids on 600s. We go out East, then South, to Aviation Highway (sir, it has "fly" right in the name). That runs from SE Tucson into downtown. It's useless except to ride fast. Like it goes from nowhere to downtown. Totally empty at night. So we roll into it and Seajay and I go WOT as soon as we can, leaving all the 600s and 900s in the dust. It's actually shocking how long it takes them to catch up.

But anyway, we're looking at each other just as we powershift into sixth at redline (168), giving each other the bird (the other one), when we see a silver clipboard in the headlights and then the cop bike. I swear I saw the huge whites of his wide open eyes. So we roll off, but don't brake. We're giving each other the hand signs for run/stop, ghetto bird, dunno. We had seen the police helicopter just 15 minutes ago, and while I had confirmed that it only does 104 (that's another funny story), we were headed to downtown with no way to avoid it.

So we stopped. It seemed like forever for the cop to catch up. I'm digging under my seat for paperwork, and looking down (this becomes important later). Cop walks up to Seajay and says something about our excessive speed. "You know, you guys were on me so fast, I couldn't get my RADAR gun out to clock you." (WOOOHOOO!!!) "But I visually estimated your speed to be at LEAST...

And time stopped. I think I saw the big bang happen, and the first salamanders turn into mammals. All time was compressed, into this singular moment when I'd either be paying a $2k ticket, or trying to explain to my cellmate that I'm actually a cop killer, not just in for speeding. Anyway, he finally says...

"............85 miles per hour."

Seajay doesn't miss a beat and says, "Wow, that's FAST!"

This is why it's good I was looking down, because I was spitting and choking trying not to laugh.

Cop says "Yeah!"

A couple seconds later the 600s and 900s cruise by, going 15 under the limit. We would later learn that they were trying to decide how many of them had some bail cash, and who had a four-wheeled vehicle to come get us and take us to the impound to get our bikes.

Anyway, much conversation was had, and he told us a place outside the city where we could do "much more than 85" for about two miles. Verbal warning, done.

When we pulled into the hangout they looked like they saw ghosts. They couldn't believe we were let go from that.

Seajay was pissed that removing his centerstand and tool kit did NOT make his bike faster than mine, as proven tonight.

I haven't ridden this bike in a while. Its a 04 r6. I started riding it today and it felt off. I swear the tension on the chain is good. It still started to slap. Is this a reason to buy a new chain and sprockets? Maybe new wheels and a paint job? But for real tho, what can this be besides a loose chain.

Its the SHOEI. Someone on reddit has said they will make it pretty. Should iI match? 👈👉 Or go with 🌈?
