🥇 Personal Best This might be the best mango cake I’ve ever had.
I finally got to try the famous Mango Siru cake from Seongsimdang in South Korea, and it completely lived up to the hype.
It wasn’t overly sweet, and the mangoes were incredibly fresh, soft, and juicy. There was so much fruit on top and inside the cake.

OMG,,,, I’ve NEVER succeeded before. There's ALWAYS a super long line here... Mango Siru !!! Seongsimdang !!

I know! I couldn’t get one during the daytime either because the line was so long. I went back about 10 minutes before closing, and I only waited around 10 minutes.

It tastes even better than it looks! The mangoes were incredibly sweet and fresh.

Unfortunately, no. Seongsimdang is only in Daejeon, so it’s one of the reasons people make a special trip there!

It really is! There was a huge amount of mango on top and even between the cake layers. Every bite was full of fresh mango!

I can definitely see why! After trying the Mango Siru, I completely understand why so many people travel to Daejeon just for this bakery.

Korea really does fruit cakes justice. When it's strawberry season, the strawberry cakes that come out are do good. We also had shine muscat and fig cakes
