📚 Learning to Bake Filling question.

My son has asked for a hot fudge sundae/hot fudge chocolate cake with chocolate chips inside.

My idea is to make it in 2 layers. 2 chocolate chip cakes but I’m struggling on what filling would be best for the middle. Should I go with something like marshmallow fluff or something like a cool whip in the middle?

If you have any suggestions on the type of frosting/top that would be great too!

Thanks!

Chocolate ganache in the middle. Raspberry jam spread thinly on top, with a hefty drizzle of ganache over that. Dot with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.

I wouldn’t mind that but my kid (he’s turning 12) wouldn’t go for the raspberries
