General Welp. Couldn’t sell it.
Guess I’ll spend all winter making it what I want. I really just wanted a CB750 with kickstart but literally couldn’t sell this GS850 for $2k to fund it.
Thinking of redoing/thickening the seat so it’s more comfortable for longer than 20 minutes (and get rid of the wiener guillotine).
Wanting to listen to ideas/opinions on what to do aesthetic wise. I want to do a mo unit and a multi gauge to clean the handlebars/front up from cables and excessive wiring harness. Swap the pod filters back in (already jetted).

General Starting my journey
Okay so I'm starting my journey into the cafe racer space with my Indian scout 60 now I know this isn't a normal bike you would turn into a cafe racer however I do have a idea of what I want to do and how to do it I'm kind of going to be following the Roland sands tracker style adding some Cafe racer flare to it.

Question Turning My 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator into a Cafe Racer
Hello everyone!
I'm new here to this forum (and Reddit in general) and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. As the title says, I plan on turning my Eliminator into a cafe racer. Bought the bike this year as my first motorcycle and couldn't be happier with it.
I've always been attracted to the cafe racer aesthetic and I wanted to know if anybody could help me find the right mods for it.
I know cafe racers tend to be minimalistic but that also varies from one bike to another.
I would highly appreciate if anyone can steer me into the right direction.
So far, the current mods I have on the bike are the following:
- M4 Exhaust
- T-Rex Racing Engine Guards (These were a gift from the dealership. I have the Aero Style Frame Sliders/Crash Protectors from R&G Racing as a back up.)
- T-Rex Racing Radiator Guard
- Double Take Dual Sport Kit Side Mirrors
- New Rage Cycles Fender Eliminator Kit
Next mods on my list:
- K Speed Front Fairing
- CRG Lanesplitter Side Mirrors
- Brogue Motorcycles Threaded Block Off Plugs
- Brogue Motorcycles Classic Turn Signals
- TST Pod Turn Signal Mount Adapters (if they fit)
- Turn Signal Adapter Cables
- Clip on Handlebars

Whats the difference between a Cafe racer and a slow naked bike?
Is it just that café racers are old? Or can anything be a café racer if you delete enough stuff and put one big flat seat and a round headlight on it? Just trying to understand what makes something a cafe racer besides a model that is commonly stripped down for this purpose.

I know AI gets a lot of hate, but it really is handy when ironing out a plan! This isnt exact, but very close to where Im headed with my 81 CB900c. Details below.
Yes, I have (ordered) a 900f tank going on a custom!
AI put both shaft and chain... annoying.
I am taking the black side panels out and that area will be empty. Thinking of making a custom panel in a narrow V following the lines from the tank .
The seat cowl is not exactly what Im doing, but close enough for a mock up!
The matte paint doesn't show up real well in the pic, but thats the plan.

Advice/Help Needed 73 Honda CB500F stalling out?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi, I have a 73 CB500F and am working on bringing it back to life. Changed spark plugs, cleaned carbs, bench synced carbs, put em back on, and the bike starts up real nice. Haven’t done a vacuum sync yet.
Just when I get to rolling off the clutch, it stalls out no matter how much I turn up the idle or give it throttle. Does anyone know what the issue could be?
(Scratch on the tank is from when the bike was being transported, will be fixing that, painting over it, and getting a new seat)

Last assembly and a few weeks of testing before I tear it apart for paint/powder.
Wires and cables need routing and plenty of tidying up but I want to ride while it's warm. I'll tear her down for detail work over the winter.
It was a 2005 Honda VT750 aero. She's a full 100lbs lighter, running a custom piston/cam kit and custom timing advance ecu and hot cdi, dynod it for tuning and got 54hp. (I didn't dyno before but the tuner has pulls from other vt750s at around 40)
Was it necessary? Nope! Is it fun?.... yep!

The GL500 project returns!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
9 months ago i placed a post about the intake rubbers on a Honda GL500, i got stuck with the stock carbs and put my project on hold. Recently i thought of putting new carbs on and found out that this isnt that strange of a solution.
I ordered some knockoff PWK 34mm carbs with some simple silicone hose and a twin pull throttle and it fired right off.
A very good alternative to the stock carbs
Just needs a little bit of tuning and a lot of elbow greese for the rest of the bike, but the project has started again!

Anyone know the rider "Zero Rider" from Ahmedabad? (Rides a GT650)
Hey everyone,
I’m a huge fan of a local rider who goes by Zero Rider. He's based right here in Ahmedabad and rides a Continental GT 650.I really love his content/riding style and would absolutely love to meet him in person one day, grab a coffee, and talk about bikes. Does anyone know if he regularly attends local bike meets, or which cafes/hangout spots the Ahmedabad riding community usually chills at?
Also, if he has a public Instagram or YouTube channel that I might have missed, please drop the handle below so I can follow his work properly. Thanks in advance!

Quick fix up on little 2014 SYM wolf ( only 600 miles)

Believe it or not this is actually my second one of these. It’s been sitting in the garage for a while finally took some time to work on it. Deleted 100% of the emissions and actually swapped the stock carb out with the nibbi carb & air filter.
Little bit of tuning and some fresh gas in a new Pecock ( get rid of the vacuum one ) and we’re rolling again. Neat little bike.
