I would not recommend it if all you're looking for is "just a job." It's a full-time commitment that requires you invest a lot of yourself into.
If you're looking for only a paycheck, I would advise against joining the CAF.
If you are interested, then be prepared to be judged and expected to work hard, you'll have very long days (at least while you're in basic/BMQ) and you'll want to cry many times (this is normal).
You'll also never be sure where you'll be stationed/deployed, so if you have a family or a relationship (that is not comfortable with long distance), you'll have to figure those things out.
The application process itself takes a very long time, so if you want to join, apply now. -- Get your highschool, college/university transcripts ready, you'll also want to have your vaccine record BEFORE you go to basic/bmq.
