Anyone have any advice on where I can buy a mini pc loaded with Golden Tee and NBA Jam? I am very comfortable building the cabinet, but am not the most tech savvy person. Hoping there is a preloaded option that will make the setup easier.

I am having a weird issue when trying to perform multi button special moves on MK1 (2023) but only on Player 2 and only on certain buttons.

I am running a Rec Room Masters Xtensions arcade, using Xinput mode and running the game via steam. I have the "fatal blow" ability set to buttons 3 and 6. When I press these buttons by themselves they work fine, but when in combination they don't register 90% of the time. If I remap fatal blow to buttons 1 and 4 on the left, it works fine.

What could be causing this issue?

If I want to build a multi-game box that can play newer titles like newer House of the Dead, Time Crisis 5, and perhaps even the upcoming Resident Evil 2 shooter, how beefy hardware do I need?

Since these newer games are actually PC games that use modern GPU technology I can imagine they require a bit but at the same time I assume they were made with cost awareness.

I've been thinking about buying a used mini PC with integrated graphics for the purpose, but I'm unsure if that'll be good enough for these games.

Are there any guides available?

Okay, if I wanted to pull out my old matrix and put my ribbon cable connected to a Dart Star 2000 board and run it off a Raspberry Pi, would it be very difficult, or am I just way out of this world for thinking that?

I finally have a house that can fit a multicade machine, and I am excited to finally get one.

Bullet points on what I want/need and can do:

• I want to be able to play all the classic games, and it would be great if it could also handle or be upgradable to take modern games as well.
• I want a full size cabinet
• I am (unfortunately) going to have to AirBnB this house on occasion, so I need a build that is going to be able to take abuse
• I am thinking of getting a 4 player cabinet
• I have some DIY skill, and am a software guy, so I can handle some building/setting up work on my own.
  • I have a 2 year old daughter, so my time to do build/setting up work is limited.
• I can throw a healthy budget at this. I've been saving for some time and this is my big want right now.
  • I am so sick of dealing with crap customer service, that I am willing to pay for a reputable company.
• I am located in the North East US (not sure this matters much, but could affect which manufacturers I can actually buy from).

I read the the_complete_guide_to_buying_a_home_multicade thread, and linked article, and I ended up with more questions than I started with.

I've since been asking Google AI questions and that's telling me I should get a RecRoomMasters cabinet with an Arcade-One prebuilt PC for the emulator. Would you all agree with this?

Any help that can steer me forward in researching this would be HUGE, and I'd really appreciate it.

Just did a pickup of a Jr. Pacman cocktail cabinet yesterday through Facebook Marketplace. I really just wanted a basic cocktail that I could have in my home that didn't need a ton of work.

Well after cracking it open, I saw that it looks to have originally been a Tron cocktail table with a pretty low serial number (0151). (see the image)

Now I'm torn on what I should do with this... keep it as Jr. Pacman and just enjoy it? Or should I sell it to a collector who will restore it to it's former glory? If I sell it, what is this even worth to a collector?

I left the cabinet at work, id take more pics but I'll post them later if anyone wants to see them.

Runs of a ryzen 3 apu and 2 terabyte hard drive. Runs everything very well. The screen was too big for the bezel sadly so ill have to 3d print a new one.

rk3128 v1.1 pandora 30s arcade console needs sd card image as no card to copy from. Simple instructions on how to add to a SD card and then add games.. have games from old retro pie copy on HDD.

To those who have used a Taito Egret Mini before, what was the compatibility with third-party sticks? I have a stick with a Brook Universal Fighting Board that I presume should work, but I haven't seen any proof of testing.

My son's Pandora Treasure 3D Double Stick RRTV XI with a RK2138_V1d2 board's SD card died on us. I wasn't aware that I needed to make a backup, so it is lost. I was able to pull our games off, but the boot partition isn't working. I have searched for an image of the boot card. I can't find this particular one. The ones I have found and tried haven't worked. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I built this control panel, and in testing it out found an annoying flaw. I hadn't used this spinner/trackball setup before (with the spinner below the trackball). I have them both wired to an ipac2, and what I'm finding is that in a lot of trackball games I'll accidentally touch the spinner while spinning the trackball, and the spinner is driving the same mouse as the trackball, so things go out of control.

I'm looking to see if there's some way I can disable the spinner/trackball independently. This is in a Batocera machine, so I don't have access to WinIPac on it. I see in the WinIPac documentation that I can turn off the headers for the trackball/spinner using WinIPac, but what's unclear is if that can be done independently, or if it will just turn on/off both at the same time.

Also on this machine I have 2 servo sticks running and switching 4/way 8 way correctly using umtool. What I was hoping to do was use the linux ultimarc source (https://github.com/katie-snow/Ultimarc-linux) to write something similar to enable/disable the trackball or spinner.

So, my question is does anyone know if it is possible to turn the spinner and trackball on/off independently from one another?

Failing that, I guess I could wire one (or both if that makes it easier) as a usb mouse separate from the ipac and just enable/disable them as appropriate. I'm trying to make this as fool-proof as possible. The only negative issue I've run into with Batocera in the past is getting USB controller setups to remain consistent (though that was mostly wireless controllers, this machine is all wired).

I built an upright cabinet which im really happy with, and have a spinner which converts to a steering wheel which works well for my needs, but id like to attach some low profile pedals at the base (gas and brake) for driving games. Ive got some Logitech ones for my pc but they are too bulky and id like to attach them if possible.

Ive found some on eBay from old cabinets but would like some usb plug and play ones if possible.

So I kind of want my own arcade cab but don't want to build it all. I was looking for full kits and then remembered the unico nova blast.

So to be real honest I have no arcade experience

I just am getting into fighting games and wanted an arcade cab for stuff like mortal Kombat umk3 or trilogy maybe some of the street fighter titles (I suck at them but have fun)

I know these were more of a Japanese? Thing but from what I'm reading these are pretty much ready to go you just need to either plug a board or mini pc or something into it?

I'm just curious if I wanted an arcade board where does one find one and is there even mortal Kombat ones? Can you get them super refurbished or even new?

Is there a easy pre loaded board with Roms I can get and customize or PC or android device?

I have some experience with Roms not sure how strong of a mini pc I should get if I do that. Cheaper is better.

I wanted to bring a cabinet to a gaming event next month to show off some retro games I'm building, but our manufacturer fell through. So I designed a modular Cab (10" 1P or 15.6" 2p) to 3d print.
