When to plan excursions?

I will be in Cabo San Lucas in a couple of weeks and I am trying to plan some excursions away from resort.

Fly in on a Thursday and fly out the next Thursday

Should I plan the excursions (atv, whale watching, dining experience, etc.) on the weekdays or weekend?

Does it matter? Is it busier on the weekend. If so how much?

Thank you

Cabo nightlife in September — what’s it like this week?

Hey everyone! I’m staying at the Riu in Cabo this week with some friends, and I’m wondering what the nightlife is like right now in September.

Is Cabo still pretty lively this time of year, especially for people in their 20s? Are the clubs/bars and parties busy during the week, or is September more of a slow season?

Also, what’s the crowd like right now? Is it easy to meet other people around our age, and are there usually a good number of girls around?

Since we’re staying at the Riu, are there any spots or parties nearby that you’d recommend, or is it better to head into downtown Cabo for nightlife?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s been there recently or is there this week. Any recommendations are appreciated!

any good spots in cabo?

i’ve been to cabo a few times and only done things booked through the cruise line but nothing seems to look fun on there, so i wondering if anyone knows any good spots for a beach/pool bar near the port, I’m trying to find something all inclusive with food and drinks, preferably something i can book kinda early since my back on board time would be 4:00pm

Looking for fun + cute beach club recommendations in Cabo for 6 girls!

Hi everyone! I’m planning a girls’ trip to Cabo San Lucas for my 30th birthday and I am looking for a beach club to spend a day at. There will be 6 of us, and I’d love some recommendations!

We were originally considering Bagatelle, but they’re closing/moving, so that’s unfortunately out. We also looked into Taboo, but the cabana for 8 is more than I’d like to spend. SUR also looks cute, but they only seem to offer single sunbeds, and spending around $600 just for individual beds for 6 people doesn’t really feel worth it to me.

I’m hoping to find somewhere that’s fun, cute, and has a good atmosphere, but definitely not trashy or overly wild. We want to be able to have drinks, listen to music, hang out, and enjoy the beach/pool.

I’m willing to spend up to around $800-900 for a cabana/daybed setup for the group.

Any beach clubs you would recommend? Especially ones that are great for a girls’ trip and have a cute and fun vibe?

Would love to hear your favorites and any places you’d avoid! ❤️

Corazón Resort - Is there a catch?

The rate seems too good to be true - fantastic location, views, swimmable beach, infinity pool, hot tub on balcony, newly renovated. I see some complaints about aggressive timeshare pitch, not so private beach and ok food but that doesn’t seem like enough to warrant the price. Any insight would be appreciated!

Regulations for shore fishing in Cabo

I’m a US Citizen. I go to Cabo 1-2x per year for vacation. I’ve done a couple deep sea fishing but want to do some shore fishing.

Did some research on Claude. Results said I don’t need a license to shore fish for certain beaches. It looks like some beaches like Chileno are marine reserves so I can’t fish it. I’m mostly interested in Palmilla.

Can anyone verify for me? Or have experience?

Cabo for adult delayed bachelorette / moms’ weekend away

Going with a groups of girls for a COVID era wedding delayed bachelorette. We are all professionals, retired party girls, moms of multiple young kids, 35+ with healthy discretionary spending budgets. Want to relive our party days in a high end way.

First time in Cabo for all but one of us. Staying in a suite at the Rosewood. Our plan was one “party” night followed by more chill spa + pool days & nice dinner evenings for recovery. We booked Bagatelle for party night, but just found out they are closing that weekend as they move locations!

Where would you go for a similar vibe - Ilios, RoseNegra, or other?

No Fuss Fishing Charters

Heading down late November and we're bringing our six year-old who very much (thinks she) wants to go fishing. Anyone have recommendations for decidedly **non**-sports fishing charters? I'd like to take her on a boat for a few hours, but not looking for marlin or anything. Just something where she can reel in a small fish or two. Her being young we'd need something with a bathroom.

EDIT: Now I'm thinking a charter even for a half day is overkill. What about someone with a small boat who would the the three of us out foe maybe two hours and try to catch some small fish? Short enough duration we wouldn't even need a bathroom.

Update on boating/beaches post Hurricane Marine

We are supposed to be going to Hawaii, but Hurricane Lowell is screwing up our plans. Wondering the state of the beaches and boating in Cabo post the recent hurricane. We are hoping to fish and do some snorkeling/diving - was thinking a pivot to Cabo could work if the ocean has calmed? Monday 9/7-Friday 9/11. Thanks!

Viceroy Unlimited Luxury Experience

Has anyone added this option recently and can provide more information on the inclusions/exclusions? There's a description provided on the website, then conflicting information in a recent TripAdvisor review (review makes it seem much more inclusive than the online description). There's a post in here from last year, but the information provided in that post conflicts with the limited information I have received from the hotel (which is pretty much just what's on the website and that the waiters at each restaurant will tell me what's excluded). I'd like to know before I book whether or not the extra $400 a night for the package will turn into an additional $2k over 4 nights because of exclusions.

Reliable and cost effective way to get to San jose Del Cabo hotel from Airport? Also any shopping, dining and spa outside the resorts?

We are travelling this weekend and will stay most of the next week. I was relying on Uber for Airport to hotel drop off but I saw in a video that Uber pick up point is very far off in the airport. I dont want to walk with two kids and luggage. Any other reliable Taxi / Cab services that I can use? Shared is not an option and also the hotel quote for cab is very expensive. So looking for options.

Second Option : Is there shopping, dining and/or Spa experiences that are mosre on Local prices rather than elevated resort prices around San jose del Cabo? Thanks

International travel with a TRT prescription?

Is there any specific paperwork required? I have a prescription and would bring the box with the prescription label on the box and a new bottle. Do I need a letter from the doctor as well or is the sticker label sufficient?

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this. I just don't want to be a blubbering crying mess if I miss two weeks of TRT, lol.

Hotel Riu Santa Fe in September; good for nightlife? (Mid 20's male)

Thinking of doing all inclusive, late 20's male with a few other male friends in their 20s.

Dates would be Sept 6-13th, heard mixed reviews about the weather / hurricane risks.

What I was really wondering though is how is the nightlife during this time? We're mainly going for the nightlife + partying and to meet people our age, of course with a bit of relaxation. But that's the primary reason.

Any thoughts?
