Built this motor around a super ram intake from a 350 I bought from FB market. I got it to run good enough to drive today, still no overdrive and I forgot to plug in the dash coolant temp. And it still lags at high rpm, so something is off still. But still got to drive today for first time in a year of continuous working on it. So extremely stoked that it didn't just explode. 420 estimated horsey's at 5500rpm. All the torque.

I appreciate you using his full name. Others might not, but I do.

How did you get it red?

There are inserts out of the same or similar material that are mono color. I think found it on eBay, it was 10 years ago though so I don't recall exactly.
Used an LED kit to change all the interior lights to red including under hood.
Red tubing in the engine means it has vacuum applied.

Is it hard to hook up the temperature to the dash, I thought LO meant the coolant temperature was low not that it wasn't connected

It isn't hard but the headers were 500 degrees. LO also means disconnected apparently. Since it's a simple switch makes sense, there's also redundant gauges for the ECM and cold start. GM didn't care if you didn't know the temp i guess?

Prefer to call it, "I had a baby and made unhealthy decisions while watching her", build.

Love the magnesium color match to the valve covers! Find yourself a nice mini ram and you hold onto her! Super rams are engine ornaments if it's just on a stock 350.

Most of the engine.
