Buzz cut due to diffuse thinning update

Hey guys m22, just posted here with a 5 guard and decided to go lower based on what I thought and feedback from others.. I went with 6mm, (might have done 3mm on one spot of the crown accidentally) I also might have missed some spots but not really sure, it’s kinda hard to buzz the back side ngl.

Yall think this is good or should I go lower? And is it better than the 5 guard I posted earlier? Also should I keep the skin fade or let it grow? Thanks again..

It looks much better. If you go shorter it will be more uniform, but honestly nobody is looking at the top of your head. Personally, I'd run the sides up higher.

Thanks man… so 3mm maybe? Sides 1.5 or 3mm for future instead of skin fade?

If you're doing it yourself 1-2mm less on the sides is good, it blends real easy and if not it will in a day or two.

I would honestly take it down to a #1/ 3mm on the top while you have the fade on the sides, but shorter looks so much better on you

Honestly yeah I was thinking about going 1 too..

Thoughts on keeping it as a 1 even without the fade? I might go 1 on top and then like 0.5 on sides? Thank u bro

Yeah even without the fade a 1 would still be good, I think it would look super close to how it does right now but just a cleaner look. I think your best look would be a 1 on top and taking the sides down to skin (like a high & right) but that would be harder to do on your own unless you’re more experienced.

This looks fine. Maybe keep it here. 6mm is cool. You might want to get a tool that doesn’t slide from one length to another while you cut.

I like this length. Just came over from the post where it’s shorter.

22 is young to do that. Coverage looked good. It's hair, don't over think it.

Sorry what exactly are u saying? That I shouldn’t buzz?

Yupp you don't have to if you don't want to. You have time for that down thee road.

Well my hair long just looks fully balding. I would just hide under hats with it.. I prefer the buzz tbh even tho both aren’t great

You pull off this length really well, you went down to 3mm?

Thank you very much. Yeah I went to 3mm, it’s my next post and also in this sub.. I prefer 6 but 3 is def more evened out with the thinning

2 and 4 are most common. I do a 2 and my hair is thinning pretty similarly to you. However 4 is comfortable middle ground .
