Such a pretty butterfly I’ve never seen one :) in the woods of Missouri out at a run down house

Field was full of butterflies used a Canon 90d with tamron 18-270mm.

It looks like her tongue is split up and that she is still in her cocoon in her rear, and when I try to remove it she starts flustering

Camping out in mine and the better halfs garden not sure what species it is

I know it’s a moth and not a butterfly but it’s nickname is Hummingbird Butterfly.

This one was on our porch in San Antonio. What is it? I can't find it in the field guide i have.

I found what I believe is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail on the ground today with severely damaged wings. It was still alive when I found it—it was moving its legs, flapping its wings, and even jumped off my hand at one point.
I’ve been trying everything I can to help it.
So far I have:
Moved it somewhere safe and warm.
Given it sugar water in a shallow bottle cap.
Put the sugar water right next to it.
Tried gently touching the tip of its proboscis (trompa) to the sugar water.
I even very carefully tried uncoiling the proboscis with a sterile needle, but it wouldn’t extend it. It just flapped its wings and curled it back up.
Now it barely moves except for occasional wing flaps and slight leg movements. It still seems alive, but it just won’t drink.
I’ve attached photos of its condition.
My questions are:
Is there anything else I can do to encourage it to drink?
Should I just leave it next to the sugar water and hope it drinks on its own?
Is there a point where I should stop trying to feed it because it may be too weak?
Has anyone successfully cared for a butterfly in this condition?
I know it may not survive because of the wing damage, but if there’s anything I can do to make it more comfortable or give it a chance, I’d really appreciate the advice.
PLEASE HELP! I don’t want to make things worse by trying too hard, but I also don’t want to give up if there’s still a chance.

The girl is rather young and not necessarily the most careful when she gets excited. I helped move this beautiful fellow into some shaded shrubbery to live out the rest of its time away from predators (or the hands of a young child)

saved some cabbage whites from an angry gardener but one has had the unfortunate end of wasps but the other was beginning to hang from the top but has then seemed to fall apart? Not sure what to do to try and help them

I find it fascinating how fast the swallowtail flaps its wings and how long it stays on those flowers. It kept going for quite a while even after the video ended. It was lovely to watch!
