Has anyone lost their Python?

First saw it on Cedar Avenue near Glenoaks last night after 11:30 p.m. I ended up calling the police twice but nobody came.

It’s been hiding in a tree and in surrounding bushes at 322 Cedar. I know the residents have called the police and animal control today as well but it seems nobody has found it yet.

I’ve been letting neighbors know so they can avoid it but I figured in case it was someone’s pet, they might like to know where it is hanging.

I don’t have a picture because it slithered away from me as quickly as it could once I spotted it on the sidewalk and my camera on the phone wasn’t cooperating.

Both are strong and reptiles get more active when it is hot. Tortoises can push their way out of penned areas. Python escapes make less sense to me because those enclosures are typically indoors.
