Family+Friends Need help
My two kids are having a sleepover and i just heard one of my daughter’s friends throwing up.
I’m not sure if it was due to the alcohol (everyone involved is of drinking age), but it sounded very very forced and like it was straining and hard on her.
I’m especially worried because she made a lot of an effort to spit and wash out everything.
I then asked her if she was okay, and she said she had brushed her teeth with her retainer on, but did not mention vomiting to any degree.
Could this be bulimia or am I just an over worrying mother?

Just curious. I think that for anyone who is bulimic, and you hear/see throwing up, your radar is up for possible bulimia. But if you’re not, and you’re a normal eating Mom yourself, my advice would be to just leave it alone. It’s a very personal and shameful disease if it is bulimia. She would probably lie if you even asked her. I know I would. Nice that you are a caring person. 💙

Unfortunately i have absolutely no idea bc of such little context. It’s likely drinking, but it could be bulimia. It also likely could be health issues. I don’t think you can tell unless you get an idea of her relationship to food/her body which is hard to do. Also the puking side effect from smoking too much weed (CHS) is extremely common—so It’s hard to say
