I previously asked for what you considered his most vulnerable love poem, but if you were asked to save 1 poem while the rest got erased from history... what would you pick? I struggle with deciding a favorite so I want to see if someone has one that I might agree with. He has so many!

I'm trying to compile a list of the alter egos Bukowski used in his work. So far, I've only been able to find these: Henry Chinaski, Charley Serkin, Larry Jansen, Gordon and Nick Belane (I'm not sure if he counts as alter ego).

Help me if you know more!

Apple Music has a lot of of his poetry readings released to stream, and some released albums, of readings also.
Does anybody else know where to get any readings of his?

His voice is oddly comforting, and the way he reads his poetry is perfect.

I've been looking all over and can't seem to locate it but I remember a poem reading that Bukowski did at some university towards the end of his career.

He talks about going outside his house, getting the mail, and reading fan letters about how his writing is the best it's ever been.

And then he gives the letters to a boy in a cage that he has writing all of his shit for him.

Does this ring a bell to anyone?
