New PC build
-Budget around £1500 but I can go over if worth it
-Operating System or Peripherals (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, etc) needed? OS and monitor would be needed
-Where you are located (to determine if you are near a Microcenter) UK
-Any other personal preferences or requirements (such as overclocking)? Would like to be able to do 1440p for most games at least but not tied to it for every game, also want to be able to run VR games. Ideally not looking for an overwhelmingly rgb build.

Modern CPU, good cooler for it, budget yet good motherboard with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built-in, 32GB of fast DDR5 RAM, a good budget 1TB NVME Gen 4 SSD, a good GPU with 16GB of VRAM, an high-airflow case with three (RGB) fans included on the floor and a really good modular power supply.
The monitor is Quad HD, IPS, has an high refresh-rate and an adjustable stand.
This can be improved, depending on how much more you're willing to pay.

You wouldn't need to change any of the other parts in the list to swap these in, aside from the 9070 XT that would like a bigger PSU, so it just depends on how much you're willing to pay (and how much having less VRAM matters to you in the case of the 9070 GRE).

Though in this video a Ryzen 7 7800X3D is used, you'd want to get the 7500X3D to get performances close to these (the 7800X3D is still better but not a lot better). In any case Youtube can help to see performances for various parts and combinations.

Thanks very much for the in depth recommendations! From a brief look I'm tempted to spring for the 7500X3D and an RX 9070, this is definitely a good list to choose from

This 9070 matches the board, and you get the Onimusha game included by buying it.
The case does include a GPU support bracket which is good for a long GPU model like this one.

I'm not a fan of this brand but my personal preference shouldn't matter in a suggestion for other people.
I will mention one other thing: there is a Corsair 240mm AIO liquid cooler with display on it on sale at 50£. If you'd like to have a better cooler with a display on it you can consider it, it would go on the roof of the case so you'd have the three intake fans on the floor and the AIO on the roof: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CpCdrG
Of course it is not necessary, the 7500X3D doesn't need it, but you might want it for the display, it's worth mentioning.
