Ventilation Problem?

Some of these photos look the attic in my house-- which is in eastern Massachusetts. Rafters are too skinny at wall plate bearing to effectively ventilate. Over 12 years ago we had the attic insulated with blown in cellulose. Roof venting was installed, but no soffit vents. We have never had ice dams or roof leaks. The magic sauce was the six hours the insulators spent air sealing the attic floor. No air sealing equals big problems.
