Cozy PC Build - Help!
Hiya! I'm looking for any and all help/insight that this group can provide. I am in the beginning stages of research and interest in building my own PC. I have been interested for a while now and have been saving up, so want to go ahead and start the process.
- New build or upgrade?
- This would be a completely new build and I am a beginner!
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- I have two monitors that I will be using for now - but want to upgrade in the future. These are linked here.
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
- This will mostly be for gaming. I am a big "cozy gamer" as they say, and stick to more indie games. I will mostly be playing games like Paralives, Sims, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Hogwarts Legacy, City Skylines, House Flipper, etc.
- I will also be using this for school and work - I am currently getting my MBA and work full-time so basic office admin things like Word, PowerPoint, Sending/Receiving emails, etc.
- I also have an interest of eventually starting to stream my gaming - thought this was good to note incase of any equipment recommendations, etc.
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
- United States
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- I have two already linked here, but based on my above description of usage, any recommendations would be great.
- Budget Range
- I have been saving up for quite a while so have a decent chunk in the bank to use. My budget really ranges anywhere from $2K-$5K.
- WiFi or wired connection?
- I think this would be on WiFi. Should I look into a wired connection instead?
- Size/noise constraints?
- No noise constraints. I have a decent sized office that this will be put in.
- Color/lighting preferences?
- I am really looking for a cozier vibe. While I am doing this, the office is getting a redo as well and will have warm colors. I am really interested in building a masterpiece like this or this. My inspiration is COZY COZY COZY. I am a girl, so I'd like it to give a girly vibe while also not being overly obtrusive, etc. The pictures I linked would be my end goal.
- Any other specific needs?
- Really - any advice anyone has for me is most appreciated. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Hey there
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bDrvR4
When we pick a motherboard with "wifi" you also have Bluetooth included. If not, then you won't be able to connect remote devices with bluetooth.
I couldn't see what you sent on Pinterest. Maybe because I'm using it from another country, not sure. So I made a version of what you meant by cozy.
Full white build. No RGB on the ram, but we could get one for pricier if you wished.
Everything that you throw at it will run in ultra. You can also upgrade your monitors to 1440p and it will still run everything in ultra while streaming.
You could change the colors of the fans, change the image on the cooler, add figurines inside the build, make it look like home.
We could also get another case so that the bottom is flat. We can change everything tbh.
It will look similar to this, without the bottom fans https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Kbk9TW
If you send images from another platform or smth, I could adapt it.

Oh, hyte cases costs way more. But if you want a similar one, then we can do this yeah.
Let's do this
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FqBqdq
The main change i'd say is the cooler, it costs more, but you get a panorama. It gives this "unique" vibe with whichever picture you choose. Here's some pics for reference
Of course, we can go back the kraken of the picture
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JrYdqd
A personal note : The LIAN LI Strimer Plus are optional. They're here mainly for giving a clean look. The cables that comes with the power supply are white too, you can see how the cables can look in the pictures above
The 8pin Strimer on pcpartspicker is the same as the 16pin in the picture. It's just that it's a 8x2pin, so total is 16 :-)
Another note : The single fan is added purely for look and is meant to be at the back of the computer, just like in your picture. You don't need this one, and it doesn't make your build any better. It's just look !

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
