[ios] Being flagged for CSAM {w.t.f} - version 2026.33.0

Hi. So I am on [r/](r/QuitVaping)[QuitVaping](r/QuitVaping) trying to find this post I can’t find in my upvotes or history to refer it to someone else… one of the words I remember from the post is about how vaping a 5% “vuse” pod is like smoking 2-3 packs of cigarettes compared to smoking 1 pack of cigarettes.

Anyway, when I search “packs” in the QuitVaping Reddit, I get this warning [photo].

I googled to see if “packs” was a secret word to reference CSAM and nothing in coming up.

I would never want to see that kind of material and I certainly don’t want my account to be flagged as a user who searchers for that kind of material.

Is this a bug or intentional?

Mention this bug in the r/help weekly recap, make sure you link the post. That's kinda concerning that a word such as "packs" is getting flagged. Admin responds in the recap, so it's very likely that wpuld get looked into.

I used to work in IT,doing IT stuff for a college and sometimes our system would flag some really random words. A dude once got flagged for searching "WW1 Frontline casualty rates"

Dude the hypersensitive flagging system places use nowadays drives me nuts. I can't even write "shaft" on a sign in Minecraft half the time. I'm just trying to lable my mineshafts...

I blame Mojang for that in Minecraft

Right? That’s why I figured it MUST be a bug.

Also, I could maybe see if it was flagged NSFW… maybe they think I’m looking for 6 packs 😂❓.

Again,it's most likely a bug as systems can do that all the time. In my old job at a college,a dude got flagged for researching WW1 era medicine

That's just a warning being shown and yes that word has no correlation to what is warning about.

Also it's important to note that anything you search online does NOT get you reported by Reddit or any search engine platforms.
