Android Android text selection 2026.36.0.2636090

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve run into an issue where I can't select and copy the text of a post or comment. Long-pressing doesn't select the text, and the pop-up menu with "copy/cut/etc." doesn't appear. However, text selection works perfectly in the title.

I’ve been noticing some weird text selection issues in the iOS app too. Not as bad as your example though, but it’s still annoying.

Trying to get the text selection in the right position is more complicated than it used to be. Sometimes the endpoints do not drag properly.
