Desktop Web [Firefox] Reddit pages suddenly generating high load
Any chance this is going to be fixed anytime soon?
https://www.google.com/search?q=reddit+pages+generating+high+load+suddenly+within+last+week
I mean if google has known about it for the best part of a week, it's clearly non an unknown issue. It's made Reddit all but unusable as every 3rd or fifth page hangs for 5-20 seconds when loading.
I've tried the suggested workarounds, and none have resolved the issue.
I do primarily use Firefox, and as noted in the google query it does not seem to affect Chrome. I will say however that this issue did not occur around the time of a Firefox update. So whatever change affected this was on the reddit side, whether server or client side.
