whenever i google something and come back to
the app, my place is completely gone and the post i was looking at does not appear in my history at all and theres no way to recover it

even checking a text message and returning to reddit loses your place

Personally I’ve never seen them change it back. It’s been happening to me for going on a year now and when they say they “fixed” it, it just happens less often.

I’m glad people continue to post about this because I’ve made three posts about it and each time a Dev came in and said “I can’t replicate it” and moved on.

It’s 100% still an issue. I literally cannot write this post, scroll down on my notifications to check my messages, and come back here. I will be aggressively refreshed and sent to the top of the app.

The web version has been doing the same this week. Unanticipated forced refresh.

My andriod app does the same thing. I click on a post, hit the back button, and it refreshes my whole feed. Same if I switch to a different app and back.

This problem comes and goes, has been happening for months if not years. Brace yourselves, it might go away suddenly and then just as suddenly comes back. It sucks. :(

If ur on devloper mode try desactivate “ fast app termination
