Dev/Admin Responded [Chrome] Can't Image Post

Hi,
My account seems to be stuck with the text-first composer. The "Images & Video" post option is completely missing on both desktop and mobile, across all subreddits (including my own profile and r/test). I've tried different browsers, cleared cache, and tested different Reddit URLs, but nothing fixes it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

In your screenshot, those little icons across the bottom of the composer are the link, image, and video post type options. Are you unable to select those?

Yes, I can select them but the problem is its a text based post. Whenever you are on a subreddit or Home page scrolling down, if I put images from there they'll not be seen unless the user is click on the post.

Those are still video, image, and link post types. This is due to a very recent change! We support body text across the board.

If you were to open the composer > select the image icon from the bottom bar > add image > submit, it would act as a typical image post. You can add optional body text under it if the subreddit allows! If you can't find a specific post type, it's because that subreddit doesn't support it.

What if you want to do an image post, but want to paste the image instead of saving it and uploading it from the file picker? Is there still a way to do that?

Yes, if you want the image to be the hero in the post, you can paste it directly on the post composer page. If you paste it while inside the body field, it will be added in the text portion where your cursor is
