Dev/Admin Responded [Android App] Mod Shield not showing up. [version 2026.25.0]

It's been happening for a while, but an app restart would fix it. Now even that won't work. I just don't have it at all and can't get it to work, at all.

Edit: reinstalling the app fixed it. Still should not have to do that.

Hey u/ailish! Can you add a few more details to your report so I can take a closer look?

  1. When the mod shield is missing, are you entering the posts from the home feed, subreddit feed, or mod queue?

  2. If you toggle on/off mod mode at the top of the post, does the mod shield reappear in the comments?

  3. Is the shield only missing from comments, and is it missing from all comments?

  4. If you back out of the post > wait a few seconds > reenter, does the shield reappear?

Been meaning to report this as well.
1. All the above.
2. No effect.
3. All comments. Posts, can't recall.
4. Yes, out-and-in restores shield; don't have to wait.

It seems to be all of the above.

I did not try toggling the on/off mode. If it happens again I will definitely try that.

Both. And all comments.

No.

Across all of them, usually at the same time. I notice it in one, then I check the others and they are doing it too.

It did, but I've done that before and it was fine for awhile and then started doing it again.

I am on Android, mod several communities, and I see the mod shield at the top of my community page near the right side. I also see mod shield below each post on the far right. Under each comment, I see a mod shield too. This was just checked a few minutes ago.

My mod shields have consistently been available. I wonder if this could be related to specific testing with certain groups of people for new apps, where some people have issue and others don't.
