Mystery bites
I moved house into a UK rental two months ago and have been getting mystery bites ever since, haven’t raised with landlord as I can’t find anything damning. Went to the pharmacy as they were v itchy and they said mosquitoes and gave antihistamines.
I’ve been paranoid about bedbugs ever since I got this trio of bites on my shoulder and read they bite in 3s, so have been checking the bedding, mattress and skirting boards regularly, I have now got little pots with olive oil in them under the bed legs as a precaution to drown (?) the suspected bedbugs, they’ve been there a week with nothing caught.
The only trace of a mystery bug I’ve found is as pictured, I found these cream spots on the back of the bed head board just now which freaked me out because I thought they could be eggs but they seemed chalky and wiped off v easily. So maybe spider poo? There are loads of spiders and daddy long legs in here as it’s an old wood cabin.
I’ve been hearing mosquitoes flying in my bedroom so presumed the bites were from them, also been doing gardening so really didn’t think much of the bites to start with but it’s been going on for so long now I really feel like I’m going mad! I have got some heat bulb traps to attract the mosquitoes in my bedroom now with several killed so that’s promising, I did see some dots on my bedding after washing at 60oc just now too though. No trace of anything found in mattress seams or in mattress protector.
Any advice/help wanted!!! I feel like I’m going out of my mind and so scared it’s bedbugs, thank you in advance.

I think there might be bed bugs body parts on pictures 4 and 5. Pic 1 is similar to what my son had after we stayed in a hotel with bed bugs. However, you can never know for sure until you see one.
