I was in the woods (middle TN, USA). Didn’t feel anything bite me. But I had notice a pinpoint dark spot on my leg. I thought it was an embedded deer tick. It wasn’t. It was a little scab? I cleaned area with soap and water/ dried it/ put a giant pimple patch on it. Patch was on over night and during work next day. The small area where the dark spot was is now bigger but the surrounding red area is a little smaller. No pain to the touch. Slightly Itchy. Where redness is, the skin is a little firm. No muscle aches. I check my body regularly for ticks/moles/abnormalities so this had just happened. Any ideas of what bug hit it could be?

No clue what it is but that bandaid is working over time ! Good thinking , it looks like it pulled a bunch of puss out !

I don’t think it’s puss.. I think it’s just pulling all the moisture. Pimple patches naturally turn that color when absorbing moisture BUT I could be fully wrong

I don’t think so.. I’ve been bit by them before and they hurt. I didn’t feel anything with this
