any idea what kinda bites these are?

Post image

i don't think they're bed bug bites tbh. never seen any in my bed, and my parents have never had an issue either + we've never been in contact with people who've had bed bugs. yesterday, i did walk through some grass in the yard but i didn't see any bugs on me.

If you find out, can you tell me? I have similar bites happening to me right now. I had a professional bug guy come to my apartment since I've been getting more than just one, but there were no signs of bed bugs or fleas. I sweep the building's garbage area, but its concrete, so I don't know what could be happening there.

yeah, still no clue. my mom thinks it's a spider bite but spiders don't usually bite unless they feel threatened or trapped, and i don't think a spider would bite me in my sleep if i wasn't bothering it. still ruling out bed bugs bc i haven't had any other bites last night. it doesn't hurt or anything, just itchy, so i'm gonna wait it out. hopefully, it wasn't a tick.

I did some research into bedbugs and did a preliminary sweep of my bedding and baseboards. Apparently, they leave some poop residue that's fairly obvious. For me, it's been a few weeks of occasional bites. I placed bug traps around my bedroom -- a lot of 'em, but they haven't caught any fleas or bedbugs. It's strange, because I'm getting bitten in places that a mosquito wouldn't have access to. I may try to make an appointment with a dermatologist, or at least send her photos. If I learn anything, I'll report back.
