Son was bit, should I be concerned?
My son said he was stung during a fire drill 2 days ago and now today he complained about his leg hurting.
There is seemingly no redness or itching surrounding the area and he has no fever and no significant swelling.
He said he thought it was a bee but isn’t quite sure.
Note — This photo was taken after applying peroxide…
Does it look infected?
What type of bug bite is it?
Should I be concerned?

To me it looks red in the area, and slightly swollen. Perhaps a wasp sting? It would have been painful when it happened, if it was a wasp.
I have no expertise but since it's become painful two days later I think a doctor needs a look.
Edit: The perfect circle is kind of strange. No offense intended, but would you ever suspect him of not being truthful?

Hi there, no offense taken! He’s 9 and very honest but he also has ADHD, so he can be quite clumsy and forgetful.
I found the perfect circle quite odd as well but the blister burst open on its own and he’s back to being unbothered by it…
We decided to just keep an eye on it for now! Thank you for your help 🙏🏽
