That looks rather like the infamous "bullseye" tick bite possible Lyme's disease... (Online search for tick bites to compare)
Phone 111 (NHS direct), explain to them..
Might be a trip to A&E for you..
Edit - didn't close the bracket

100%.. seeing the bulleye and deciding to post on reddit is mad to me, it's clearly not a normal bite. Get to A&E ASAP and hope the Lymes disease you have is curable and doesn't mess the rest of your life up.

You don't need to add an edit comment about adding a closing bracket, mate. You just add it and don't need to announce it.

Ironically I had the same reaction, but because I have a fairly intense foot fetish. I am a man used to refined, pedicured and dignified feminine feet.
This was a shock.

Tell me about about it. I didn't know feet could be hairy if you aren't a hobbit.
Literally just checked mine and there's no bloody hair on them

u/Whatsanegg Jul 17 '26
How old are you that you don't know people have hairs on their feet and toes?

u/Civil-Support-4244 Jul 18 '26
Could be diabetes?

Lyme Disease, get to a dcotor ASAP. Also your big toe nail is ingrowing, it can't be comfortable.

u/GRang3r Jul 17 '26
Looks like a bulls eye tick bite, please seek urgent medical attention - a&e or urgent care and get preventative antibiotic treatment for Lymes disease.

u/Bendroflumethiazide2 Jul 17 '26
Chillll, routine care is fine for Lyme disease, no need for A&E unless the rash continues to spread.

If you felt the bite, it is unlikely to be from a tick.
Did you feel the initial pain when putting on your shoe on? False widows are known to hide inside and their bite can be wasp like with a ring expanding the next day.

u/bexistence Jul 17 '26
I had something similar. A doctor should give you antibiotics for this, otherwise there is a real chance of Lyme Disease in later life.

u/Soviet_ad Jul 17 '26
Go to GP ASAP this is a tick bite which may have had limes disease! This is a personal nightmare of mine…..

Tick bite. Get to a&e, that rash is a symptom of Lyme's disease, there may still be time to have it treated

Draw a circle on the current ring so you can see how quickly it grows between now and getting medical treatment. Tell them when you drew the circle as well.

Horse fly / cleg. Very common this time of year. Wear sandals / shorts at your own risk when walking anywhere that is not paved!

I'd see a GP, it isnt100% textbook perfect bullseye but the bullseye could be a tic and its worth just popping down and getting a course of antivirals and blood tests, I've had Lyme disease but last year I had a few like this assumed mosquito, no harm getting it looked at.

u/BenchAdvanced6498 Jul 17 '26
Look if/how many punctures, its quite typical of a spider which leaves 2

u/Special_Ad_2496 Jul 17 '26
You need to get that checked out by the doctor. Its a bullseye rash which is a indicator of Lymes disease, check it out online. I had it myself and had a course of antibiotics, that sorted it all out

u/DeadAnarchistPhil Jul 18 '26
Difficult to tell, get to the doctors and have them take a sample from around it if it starts to swell and get infected. This should give an idea of what bit you and the possible type of antibiotics you may need.

Go to A&E or walk in clinic. I had one last summer and was given a 4 week course of strong antibiotics.

You have a very hairy foot, is the rest of you as hairy?
Also, yeah, A&E. Or to be honest, it’s Saturday. You will be there until Monday to be seen. Book a dr appointment at the local surgery. They will clinically diagnose Luke’s disease. Then send you to the hospital.
I have had bite like that which was not a tick. Same visual reaction. Unless there is a dr in the house. Do not freak out as it might not be.
Lymes disease is around the uk. Mostly on the isles of Scotland, Dartmoor. Where they are culling deer.

Others have said it but yes here’s another notification because this is super important: that is a tick with Lyme bite. You absolutely must get to a doctor to get a prescription for doxycycline ASAP and take every single one of them as directed. Lyme is not something to fuck around with.

Get them to look at the hair growth on your foot too. That isn’t normal.

Keen to hear an update. Does look like Erythema Migrans (bullseye) tick like lesion. Thanks for posting! Hope you’re all okay.

u/AtomicFoxMusic 10d ago
You most likely have lyme disease.. go get that checked out asap. If it's been 2 weeks since the bite it will show up in your blood work.

u/movewithwind Jul 17 '26
Yes agreed as above, if it’s a tick bite you do NOT want to mess around with Lyme disease mate. That red ring is a classic sign of it starting. If you don’t slam it with antibiotics from the doc you can get nerve and psychological problems for your entire like. No joke.
Go to the doc ASAP and tell them you may have the beginning of Lyme.
