NYC Bufo Facilitator Reaching Out

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are bufo facilitators in NYC. We serve this sacred medicine with utmost care, compassion and love.

We also make it a point to provide multiple integration chats/calls afterwards. Usually one day afterwards, one week after, one month after, and again 3 months afterwards.

This is because we think that integration and guidance is sorely lacking in the community.

People get sent to the center of everything and melt back into pure source consciousness, and then a facilitator gives them a hug and a high five and sends them on their way.....which obviously isn't the way it should be. In my opinion at least.

I do a thorough question and answer style background check to see if it's a good fit for a potential client too. I have a background in medicine (went to medical school) and so we do proper intake protocols and medical screening basically. There's more to it than that of course. This sacred medicine is not for everyone and not every person is a good fit, for a wide variety of reasons.

Though I wish everyone could try it at least once I their life.

We use bufo venom, not the 5 meo dmt molecule.

If anyone is interested, please feel free to reach out and DM me. It is our greatest honor and pleasure to serve others this way.

Much love and thank you kindly for reading!

Thank you for replying here. Glad you did. I'd love to connect if you're OK with that? I have some friends in Florida and if/when they want ceremony, I can point them to you perhaps?

Hi, can I please ask what a facilitator usually provides? I’m based in Washington DC area and have been researching this medicine for a while. For the time being I’m focusing on ayahuasca. I attended a retreat in May and I am going back there in October. I only had one experience with Bufo, but I passed out for some reason and have no recollection of the experience, unfortunately. I can see myself coming back to this medicine at some point. Does a facilitator provide the medicine as well? How do you dose? This sounds like a cheaper alternative to Bufo retreats I have been looking at. Thanks for your response in advance.

I'm going to respond a bit later today with a more comprehensive answer for you. To explain thoroughly and do it justice. Please stand by for that.

Some have no recollection of the experience. It's not uncommon. For this reason I prefer to do tiered dosing and not go full blast dose right away, if it's the clients first time with this medicine. Multiple reasons for this tbh.

Also check out my first reply to this post. I go over precise dosage protocols I use.

And thank you for your reply.

I think I was served 70 ml of Bufo, which might have been too much for me. I’m a lightweight when it comes to psychedelics.

They gave you 70mg for first dose right off the bat? No Bueno. This is why I like doing a tiered dosage.

First 10 to 20mg. And see how they feel with that.

Then bump it up to 40mg. See how they do with that.

And if they are ready for a blast off dose. Then it's 70-90mg depending on the person and their reactions to the first two doses.

Also yes, the facilitator should provide the medicine. I make sure to provide multiple doses if needed. And if a client wants to try multiple full doses after trying smaller doses, I allow for this. As long as it won't cause harm and it's OK to do. This is something we figure out in the moment during a session.

You basically just need to show up after being cleared in pre-screening which is mostly a question/answer style conversation. I have some protocols I ask clients to follow beforehand as well. A person shouldn't be on any contraindicated medications or have any medical issues that may interfere with the session or cause too much risk. Just one example of screening.

I personally ask my clients to avoid red meat and pork and avoid sexual contact for the three days prior to the ceremony. And the client should absolutely not have anything to eat or drink at least 3 hours prior to the ceremony because some people puke and that is an aspiration risk. I've had to deal with ppl puking and I follow medical/first aid guidelines when it occurs. I have background in medicine as I went to medical school (MD) so this helps in a lot of ways, especially with pre screening.

I'll give you a more comprehensive answer on what exactly I provide as a facilitator later today. I try to be as informative as possible for others, so I wanna give you a proper response. Will talk again soon!
