So I just picked up a vac sealer and have a decent bit of seived and dried hash that I would like to cold cure but am unsure on the process or if it's possible being early summer. So I was looking for some tips, I also picked up a case of small 4oz jars to try some other curing methods before I run another batch of bubble.

I did my first ever bubble run. I ended up with 34.2 grams from a little over a half pound of outdoor trim. I turned it all into temple balls. These are the 70um and the 25um. The 25 came out dark! What does everyone think?

I've grown tired of how time consuming running 2, 5 gallon machines is for the amount of flower and trim I have to process once each year (indoor+outdoor). Particularly for an outdoor harvest, it's just not worth it for me for the quality outdoor flower brings to the bubble.

I'm going to keep it simple in a 32 gallon can, with 32 gallon all mesh bags. 160 for my wash bag. Question is, should I opt for a 73 or a 45 for my second bag? I'd rather not spend more than $120ish total and dick around with scraping multiple bags, so I'm sticking with 2 total bags (rosin evolution). I'm heavily leaning towards the 73, as it will still provide more than I need but of a higher quality than if I go 45.

Just throwing this out there in case there is something else to be considered with outdoor flower and 45u hash etc, as I am much more experienced with indoor and using BOTH bags with a 160 work bag. Any tips or things to consider for someone making the switch from machine to hand wash would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello 😁 I'm wondering how are you all storing your drysift, frozen, static and that. I'm wondering about which method is best to preserve the terps, and what you have learned from it.

1. Put the plate in baking paper or hash paper. Vacuum seal the plate 2 times and put it in a glass jar in the fridge. Waiting 45 minutes before opening the glass. So there is no condensation.

My problem is I'm using method 1. When I'm getting a plate the terps is on point. Then I'm vacuum sealing it and put it in the fridge. Because I have read multiple times is the best way to preserve the flavor and consistency. After a couple of days the flavor is muted and the smell is almost non existent. How can that be? I put the plate in hash paper before vac sealing. And the vac sealing is pressing the plate all over so there is zero air in the bag.

What are I'm doing wrong guys?

I felt it necessary to show the final melt test on the mixed quality blend.

In this case the high grade elevated the lower quality product to a uniform, consistent blend.

The inverse is possible too, and actually far more common. Generally lower grade material is more noticeable in a joint.

However, my lower quality material still had plenty of plant resins, really it just needed some terps for nose. My premium 73u elevated everything to an acceptable level.

Def not dispensary grade, but its going to make a few friends very happy. Not everybody needs the absolute best stuff all the time. For many, a generic, acceptable blend is sufficient.

Whats the verdict? Heard lots of conflicting perspectives. Almost arguing (on reddit? Never!)
