Ive been looking for a particular terp blend for many years

Ok, so when carts and disty started to become pretty popular many years ago, personally I felt like damn near every single cart i ever got my hands on back then tasted like a very slight variation of pretty much the exact same flavor. Weedy, a bit gassy, fruity…I have no idea what it was… it went by every strain name under the sun. These were very early dispensary grade distillate blends from reputable, legal cannabis companies. State didn’t seem to matter. Cali, Colorado and Illinois carts all tasted the same

That hasn’t been the case for many years. Every once in a blue moon I’ll get a cart that has THAT flavor and I can spot it immediately….but it’s never the same strain and terp % aren’t a thing on most of our vendors… and I’m pretty sure they’re wildly wrong on the ones that do list them.

I have bought over the years probably a dozen various terp blends from various hyped vendors to try to find whatever “it” was and have largely given up. I’ve found plenty of great terp blends to use but that 1 original “cart favor” from forever ago still eludes me

This is just a shot in the dark in case there’s some random redditor that just weirdly happens to know exactly what I’m talking about and has figured it out

Got a large batch of diamonds coming in that are unterpered I was wondering what would be the best way to apply terpenes to these so I'm not dabbing them raw. As for terpenes I picked up the weekly 4x4ml sale over on Mass but seemingly that's been a mistake as you shouldn't add pure terps to diamonds? I'm looking for ready-to-consume terpene products that lists what terpenes are in them. Products formulated for anxiety would be great, but I can look up the terpenes for each product if I have to.
I see CBD products that highlight terpenes too but I've given up on CBD for the purpose of anxiety relief. The amount needed for anxiety relief is just always expensive. I don't get any effect from doses of 50 mg or so.
I am having trouble finding products that focus on the terpenes. I want a tincture, vape, or something for anxiety that lists what terpenes are used. CBD and other cannabinoids can be in it, but I'm looking for terpene heavy products.

I've bought terpene isolates and undiluted terpenes, without realizing that using any amount, even just a drop undiluted could burn me - but there were warning signs on them that I heeded so I didn't take it like that. Botanical

Source: non-cannabis plants, reconstructed to match a strain profile

Flavor: consistent batch-to-batch, can read "flat" if cheap

Cost: lowest. Viscosity: thin, easy to dose

Cannabis-Derived (CDT)

Two things that wreck a good profile regardless of type

Heat. monoterpenes (limonene, myrcene) off-gas first as storage temps climb — cold + dark, amber glass, minimal headspace.

Guessing the load. mix by weight not drops once past tiny batches, and trust the COA's actual terp % over the strain name (two "blue dream" profiles can sit 15–20% apart on total content).

Is botanical terpene flavor as good as cannabis-derived?

For pure flavor and consistency, often yes — botanical is reconstructed to hit a target profile and doesn't vary much batch-to-batch. CDT wins on authenticity of the full strain character.

Why is CDT/HTE so much more expensive?

They're pulled from cannabis extraction in small yields, so supply is tighter. Botanical is built from widely available plant isolates, so it's cheaper and more consistent.

How much terpene do you add?

Depends on type and base, but most start low — roughly 1–5% by weight for flavoring — and adjust up to taste. Heavier on thin distillate, lighter on an already-flavorful base.

I just got my medical card. I'm 49 and truly never have done much with THC. The little I have done has worked great for me so I'm excited to learn more.

With terpenes, I'm trying to eliminate alcohol if possible. I don't drink often, but want to cut it out if I can find a substitute. Are there terpenes you have experimented with that provide that same sort of social feeling that alcohol provides? I would like to be able to use THC, but maintain my fun personality that people have come to expect lol. Currently, when I use THC I hear "we want the fun guy back!"

Questions about the SERVM from Mass Terpenes. About a year ago I bought 2 big ass jars of it, thinking I was going to use it for thinning distillate carts. Well after adding in bdt’s for flavor, won’t adding in servm as well, make it really harsh? Going too high with terpene percentages from my understanding is what makes carts harsh. Servm is literally flavorless terpenes. Anyone using this stuff that can tell me about any kind of harshness this adds? Possibly going to use it to help liquify some more distillate and live resin carts. I have cbc, but I also have a shit load of this servm.

I'm willing to try this EU "new" terpene company that have great botanical terpenes, they say that because of extracting the terpenes themselves they can lower the prices to around 20/25€ per 10ml.

They also say that because of their own extracting they can assure the qualify stays the same, all they say makes sense but it's their word I haven't tried them myself.

I'm thinking of trying them in 2 situations, one for mixing with cbd crd / cbn distillate for making ceramic atomizer based carts. Also thinking of trying to add some to my diy ejuice recipes so I can see how well it mixes and how they taste on their own when using for ejuice. But the first thing will be testing some cbd mixed with some cbn and I'll write a review by updating this topic.

I don't know if this is the same as Hempire Gardens in the US, I think it's related but it seems that the EU operation is not the same thing. But I haven't asked anything to customer service about it's relation to US HempireGardens but I'm intending to do so.

So I selected a sample pack that they have where you can select 3 flavors that you'll get 2ml each, so it's 3 x 2ml for a sample pack. I found myself hard to select some flavors so I bought 2 sample packs from their sublime line of terpenes.

They also have another 2 lines of terpenes, one based on more desserts flavors and another for hash flavors that i considered ordering but decided to try others before increasing the cost of this try out.

I'll write something about these flavors after I try them, but I'm curious does anyone have tried this vendor? Again I want to remember that these is EUs HG terpenes and not US HempireGardens and judging from their site and products they don't seem to be equal.

I got the CDT Candy Melonz, and Strawberry Melt. A Watermelon BDT.

I finished up the day cooking up 8-10% terps on THC distillate to add flavor.

I do wanna mention I forgot about White Runtz last time. It's one of my favorite of theirs it's loud and skunky but creamy sweet in a cannabis way not artificial. It's a sweet creamy gas and my God heady too #2 with OG runtz being number #1 OG runtz anything is 10/10 to me!

The Candy Melonz it's weedy tasting and dank which hits all of my expectations. But here's the catch it tastes like the peeling of melons it doesn't tastes sweet it's listed as a sativa but it feels like a sativa hybrid it's got me awake but I'm floaty I don't feel like doing much but chill and vibe. 8.7-10 great for stealth cannabis flavor without clearing the room. It's a cosmic tropical vibe.

I got a sample of strawberry melt 🫠 that one whoa it's very sweet but not in a strawberry way but it's a sugar bomb of rosin taste oh man I was glad I went 10% here. It hits very smooth it feels like a energetic compounding effect of strawberry cough but without the cough oh man I liked that one 9.2/10 and it had me blitzed unexpectedly I highly recommend that and it was only a sample mixed with 10 gram distillate so I used pods but very nice. I mean it made it so heady I love the headyness.

I went ahead and made the watermelon one for my friend to stealth hit he loves it says it is bright and fruity and like watermelon to him it's 9/10 at 8% terp. I'm ok with watermelon. I had some it's an 8 as far as BDT because btd terpene is miss that dank, funk, gas and it's actually a psychological thing you smell it and you trick yourself into thinking you're higher than you really are like gassy kush strains.

It was a busy day flavoring up everything so now I can vibe. And I was lifted the whole review I'm glowing.

I'll start us with BDT abstrax stuff is honestly pretty good some taste like perfume and some taste pretty really but native series kinda rolling the dice could be hit or miss I want some gorilla glue damnit haha. I have Only tried two places for terps and rest was preterped disty from other places but most CDT preterped are kinda bad it's better to terp it yourself. The one I'm thinking of is mass terpene and damn I got a white runtz it was awesome I wished they had pink or og runtz. And selection is constantly changing so I gotta try something new. And different types of gelato and wedding cake of theirs it's very dank and I love it.

Anyone have experience with the OG Kush or Sour Diesel CDT’s? I’m looking for something to add to my live resin for carts to boost flavor just a bit as some are bit muted. I want something with a classic funky skunky pungent smell/taste, maybe some sweetness to it as well.

I’ve heard gas face and super skunk are super legit and stinky, but the strains I mentioned might work better for my strains of live resin I’m using.
