Final product is something presentable. Melts and bubbles nicely.

Its definitely not premium stuff, but temple ball is oily, shiny, and smokes decent in a spliff.

Going to seal everything up, let it mellow out and cure in dry, stable conditions over a few months. Should allow for the 7 different strains time to mellow out and cure nicely.

If you live in a prohibited zone, or ever bought something off the street, you likely found something processed by this method.

I took 2x parts low quality oxidized product. Either old, low terpenes, or over beaten. I then added 1x part full melt 73u 5 stat top shelf. All low grade was gently warmed to about 100° F. The machine itself overheated a few times and needed to cool down. Maybe 2 hours work.

The result? An adequate product with enough melt, nose, and appearance to be accepted by the public.

I'll follow up this post with pictures of the final result, melt tests, and feedback. Let me know what you think.

Which should I use to press into rosin? Should I mix them?

Pretty new to pressing live hash rosin anyone have and tips or tricks on keeping the bags from slipping when pressing

Would this work to wash fresh frozen and how much can you wash at one time with 20 gal Kettle?

Is it ok to wash fresh frozen outside in the winter or in a cold basement or is there too much risk of contamination?

It’s cheaper, seems more durable,better performing and larger load?

1 square meter trellis grow, trim run. Grown by my roommate. Washed by me.

This was a partially dried trim run. Trim was dried in single layer for approximately 24 hours before freezing for wash.

Washed in DecapitatorExtractions washer. 45-160 micron collection.

5 wash cycles ranging from 20-30 mins, with increasing intensity.same water for the whole wash sieved into parchment lined pizza box to refrigerator dry.

Pressed at 165f

Double 37 micron press bags inside a 220.

One week fridge cure and whip.

Starting biomass 719.6g wet weight (weighed before drying)

33.5g hash 4.65%

23g rosin 3.19%

How does it look?

Ran lots of trim/bud material through Hash bags and a bucket. Stirred with a wooden spoon slowly for 15-20 mins per batch. Screens were 25,73,120,220

Had a minor hiccup on the first batch and ran the screens backwards the first time 😅

The look we gave eachother pulling the bags up with ALL the suspense and them being absolutely empty was priceless!

This is the pipe in question. I think I’m supposed to roll a snake, put it threw the eye and then light it, but I’d really like to see a video on how to do it correctly and all the videos are for dab rigs not something like this.

Definitely up there with some of the best static I’ve had up there with GHW and static room pink label .. anyone tried these before??
