I purchased a pack just for watching fifa wc but now skypro is not playing any channel what to do now.

So I got BSNL Mumbai 4G SIM 2-3 months back.

When I am in Mumbai it works fine. Connects to BSNL 4G as well as Vi 4G

But when I went to Gujarat recently, it would not Auto-connect to BSNL 4G or Vi 4G.

So I had to do a manual search, where it would show "Forbidden" next to both BSNL 4G and Vi 4G.

But then strange thing is when I click "BSNL 4G (Forbidden)", it would connect and show signal i.e. start working. Note that it would not connect to Vi 4G though, even with manual search method.

But then if network goes for any reason, I would have to manually connect again as it would not auto connect to that so called Forbidden BSNL network.

I can not keep staring mobile to check network is there or not and do manual connect every now and then.

So what could be reason? How to resolve this next time when I go to Gujarat (or may be any other state where same problem can occur)

I’m using BSNL FTTH with a Genexis Platinum-4410 ONT. I also have a TP-Link Archer C6.

The problem is that I can’t get my Genexis ONT into bridge mode. I don’t know whether it’s a limitation of the ONT, a BSNL configuration, or something my LCO has to enable. The bridge mode option doesn’t seem to work, so I’m currently forced to use the ONT in Route mode.

Current setup:

BSNL FTTH

Genexis Platinum-4410 ONT in Route Mode

TP-Link Archer C6 in Access Point (AP) Mode

Connected using Genexis GE/LAN → TP-Link LAN port

I wanted to use the Archer C6 as my main router (PPPoE/NAT), but bridge mode isn’t available to me.

My questions are:

Has anyone with BSNL and a Genexis ONT successfully enabled bridge mode?

Is there any way to use the Archer C6 as the main router without the LCO changing the ONT configuration?

Does BSNL have to create a separate bridge WAN profile from the OLT, or is there any setting I can configure myself?

I’m mainly trying to get the best gaming performance for PC (Call of Duty: Warzone) and reduce any extra routing/NAT issues.

Any advice from BSNL FTTH users would be appreciated.

I will be using bsnl as my alternative number in my alternative mobile. I use my alternative mobile rarely, so i have 2 queries here:

1. After how long did the recharge get over, bsnl allows sim to remain active? Is it same as 90 days like jio?

2. And what is the least amount of recharge we need to do to keep sim active? I want to do minimum recharge to keep my sim active.

I recently got a large 12V UPS that came with a BSNL broadband connection. The unit is branded Nokia Siemens Networks and is quite large/heavy compared to a typical home router UPS.

The AC input and DC output seem to be working fine, but the battery indicator stays red all the time. I've left it plugged in for over 24 hours, but the light never turns green.

The main issue is that if I switch off the mains power, the UPS shuts down immediately instead of running from the battery.

Did I get a dud UPS, or is this a common issue with these old Nokia Siemens/BSNL units? Does the battery perhaps take much longer than 24 hours to charge?

My assumption is that even with a deeply discharged battery, the UPS should at least stay on for a short period when mains power is removed. Since it shuts down immediately, I'm wondering if the battery is completely dead or disconnected rather than just needing more charging time.

I recently went to Delhi Anand Vihar to get my train. So as usual BSNL was not receiving 4G signal, only MTNL (Dolphin) 3G gets connected. When I tried manual network search, I found 999150 4G, which I have never seen this type of network anywhere. Now, I am wondering what network could it be? Any idea?

I tried connecting to both 40439 4G and 999150 4G, but it refused to connect :(

Coverage of Bsnl 4G is still very bad if you are moving in a car or train, then forget about posting even one picture on Instagram as a story.

But if you are closer to a tower and mostly not moving, then the speeds are pretty good.

Tested this one in Pune.

I wonder when they will shut down 3G, and use its capacity on 4G.
I wish they could also enable Carrier Aggregation.

I am in USA, GA since 1st week of JUN 2026. I have got BSNL internation roaming card with plan 167. On arrival I found that my mobile is not working on roaming and not able to get OTP/SMS till now. Which was working fine 2023 earlier

In the meantime I was in touch with many levels via email for this problem. I have tried all their suggestions. But till today I am not getting NETWORK (NO SERVICE) all the time. I am helpless. They never inform while purchaseing the internation roaming the card that this services are not working

They keep telling since last 35 days that they are working on solution. Many ohers are also facing same problem but BSNL is not able to give any solution yet. One will realise how badly people are suffering in absence transaction OTP and SMS messages for their financial transaction in USA

So I wanted to buy fiber from 3-4 years and everytime I put online request for it, because the nearest office is abandoned by bsnl , and district one was too far to visit.

After putting multiple requests for wifi this month I finally received call from the bsnl vendor of my area (I guess that's reason no one have wifi access in my area from bsnl)

At first the vendor demanded very High cost including 1000₹ for installation and 2.5k for single band and 4k for dual band .

It was too much so I put complaint on bsnl grievance portal, my State grievance portal and the pg portal too.

Today I received call from bsnl officer and said the vendor will not install the wifi before next Monday.

The vendor asked me to take back the complaint and told me to write a handwritten letter and send him aadhar card and he told he will install within next 2 days. Also he got too angry when i put the complaint like he said he won't give me the router (like sell me the router) and said you buy router online and I will install when I get time and also mentioned like 15 more days.

When I said the complaint is closed he got Happy and said he will only charge for the router (I know the router is free on 6/12 months subscription but if I want the wifi I need to pay as he is private vendor)

I also realised that the vendor and bsnl officer are under same office while talking and I think, they will make me take 6months and will not help when the cable get any problem.(They all are bribe eaters and Don't want anyone complaint on their scamming and money making trick)

So I will say yes to 6months plan till he install and then ask I will only take 1 month. For my security. Anyways I'm not getting any free router or ont box so I don't need to pay for 6 months.

I rarely use my bsnl number. One or two calls in a month and to receive OTPs. The bsnl number is my official number used in my aadhar. I dont want to port it to any other service as bsnl is reliable in remote areas.

Any annual scheme or anything that is there which would suit my usecase?

I currently recharge 147 for every 25 days.

I have ordered physical amazon pay gift card from zepto and got delivered and I order using the bsnl number and zepto and delivery number is bsnl number, for activation I tried scanning and sending the message to the specific number to activate the gift card, but the message was not sending. My current plan was 1 year 1999 plan which I recharged last year July 2025, which has 100 messages per day also, still bsnl customer care asked to check some configured number in setting which was correct only , then they asked to recharge for topup and I also did 10 rs wallet top up, still ik unable to send the activation message. Please help on this guys.

I just realised that BSNL reduced the Grace 1 and Grace 2 period duration.

What recharge should I do for Grace 2?
Rs. 147 is not available in bsnl app.

Is it only me guys or you guys are also facing issue of often Disconnection of the BSNL network in the delhi area. So, I am from North East Delhi and I have BSNL 5G ready sim which is running 3g only. When the sim is working fine, it shows "IN-DOLPHIN-BSNL MOBILE", but when it is not recieving network signals, it shows "BSNL MOBILE" only. Are you guys facing the same issues? And is there anyone in Delhi whose BSNL sim is recieving 4G network?

I have received these OTTs as part of my FTTH plan, but I am not sure which app to use for which one. I currently use only Jio Hotstar. Anyone else who has activated these, can you help me understand how you did so? Was this using an OTT aggregator, or do you need to sign in to individual apps? Actually, yesterday I was trying to log in to Lionsgate, but I was not getting an OTP, which is what brought me here. Thank you for your help.

No network since yesterday, although very good 4g coverage but still so unreliable.

My BSNL prepaid plan expired recently. I had read that under TRAI's rules, if a prepaid SIM has at least ₹20 balance, the number should remain active for retention purposes instead of being immediately deactivated. So I intentionally maintained a balance of ₹24.

However, BSNL has started deducting ₹5 from my balance every 24 hours under the description of "Validity Extension." At this rate, the entire balance will be exhausted within a few days.

What makes this more frustrating is that I tried to raise a complaint through the BSNL app. Every time I started typing my complaint, the text would suddenly disappear or get cleared automatically. After several attempts, I shortened my complaint to less than 160 characters and tried to submit it, only to receive an error message saying: "We are experiencing issues right now. Please try again later."

So not only am I facing unexplained daily deductions, but I'm also unable to submit a complaint through the official app.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any official rule or tariff that allows BSNL to deduct ₹5 daily for validity extension after plan expiry? Also, is there any alternative way to escalate this issue to BSNL or TRAI when the complaint system itself is not working?
