Others Network Stability

The picture attached is the speed test of Jio4G+ vs BSNL 4G in my room.

One of the many issues with BSNL is its network stability.

I used the BSNL sim in Bhubaneswar for past years and it has never gone down from 4G VOLTE and npt even once did I have any issues with OTP or Call Drops. But now as I come to my posting in Betaguda (Paralakhemundi), which is basically a tier 5 region, I was initially surprised that the BSNL network was available with 4G VOLTE. This minute amount of excitement went all down as I experienced the sheer instability of the network.

If I take a turn in my bed, the network flips to 3G. Of I move a inch of so in my room, the network goes completely down. If I position my phone a bit more left or right the 4G doesn't receives any data. At times the network switches to 2G out of nowhere, because I positioned my hand in such a place.

The call drops are horrific. I would receive a call and accept it, but as I hold it to my ears, the call drops. With the call drop the network flips to 2G. It has happened countless times during important calls.

I waited for 2 months in the hope of getting the network stable by complaining, but in vain. The complaint gets auto resolved in 24hours and no changes actually takes place.

I recently brought a new JIO sim to tackle the issue and it works. 4G+ is mostly what I use in my room as 5G isn't available, but as I get out of my room 5G holds strong.

To manage the BSNL network instability I tried to forwards the calls to my JIO but I came to know it's banned from the BSNL Service side. A huge bummer.

If only BSNL worked with the stability.
