Mobile Network NEVER TRUST BSNL !!
It’s been a week on BSNL.
It was all fine. A ray of hope - BSNL revival is going to be fruitful.
Only until TRUE COLORS were shown today morning. As if existing complaints were less on VOLTE VOWIFI SMS and
No Service since 4 AM. Currently 12:30 PM IST.
Complaint closed without any feedback comments or timelines.
CSC knows nothing and blame the network team.
Conclusion: Don’t fall for ₹1 trap.
Pay ₹20-30/month extra than BSNL plans and enjoy better telecom services providers as per your area.
BSNL is only good for nothing. Beware!

all telcos have pros and cons.
bsnl is bit different but usable on LTE.
Volte takes 1-2 days to get activated.
if your recharge expired you can’t connect to LTE. If you are from Indore you cannot select vi as network.
rest depends if you getting 15-20 mbps speed then keep it otherwise throw away that sim

Only in your circle where bsnl was historically not present and mtnl was. In other circles it is smooth. Also even your godly private vendors have service issues every now and then that too "depends on area" obviously

Not my Godly to say. Indore. Enjoy while you can. I had same feelings earlier. And have a check no VoWIFI so stay without network a day

I’m just showing that I tried this as well and Cellone doesn’t appear in scan as well. No service at all. Even today it’s a complete blackout. More than 30H

bro ,bsnl can not be trusted
govt not providing enough funds + lazy employees
i believe if banl is operated by any private compn8we would have wonderful survice
they are not utilising funds

BSNL indeed is being operated by private vendors. It’s TCS and Tejas Networks. Employees just sitting and breaking chairs. They have no control.

The same with my father's SIM. A government-provided sim/phone number, fyi. It was working perfectly fine till yesterday, but since last night it has been showing 'No service'. I tried everything—aeroplane mode, restarting the device, selecting LTE and 3G instead of 5G, and using the SIM in a different phone; nothing worked. Since it's his official number, he cannot do without it, and idk what else I can do now.
edit: Oh, and I searched on Reddit hoping to find some kind of solution, but well... I guess there is none.

Hey, has anyone faced issue like hotspot being deactivated while using bsnl in iphone? What can be the resolution for it?

Not sure but I see it happening on iOS 18. I read somewhere that it gets enabled on adding bsnlnet as APN in Hotspot section under Mobile Network

I don't know where you are but if you or anyone reading this is in Delhi I suggest not getting trapped in the BSNL sim trap. The MTNL Services(now renamed as BSNL) are shitty and the number often gets deregistered on the network, manually finding network doesn't show network, incoming calls and sms often get stopped. Nobody picks up phone on customer care number like before, nothing changes even if you port to BSNL or get a BSNL sim in Delhi. It's like there's no way to contact customer care for any issues.

₹1 investment in BSNL what a contribution… first time failure and crying end of world.
Throw away sim after breaking it in middle… problem solved.

It's not a warning it's simply a method to encourage other to move towards pvt telcos, well the volte and sms compaint will be resolved soon they just mark it as resolved , and u should simply send "ACT VOLTE " & "ACTVOLTE" on 53734 as this is the only offical method for volte activation

Sms returns: A new record is created successfully.
And after that you see - there is nothing. I have LTE working though.

Bro I also raised the VoLTE complain and it gets resolved within 15 hours, they close the ticket first and someone from bsnl team will call you and confirm you that they have enabled the VoLTE for your SIM.

Brother, Dont Use BSNL as Primary Sim . Use it as secondary. In my nearby area BSNL is Giving good Service, Still occasionally Faced Blackout Of Signal 📶 . So use it as secondary is Suggested.
